Once again Uncle Bob getting it done, pbc take note.

Round of applause for Lomachenko too. Win, lose, or draw, he fights all comers unlike the b i t c h made boys over at the pee pee see.

Haney signed a 3 fight deal with TR before the first fight with George

Bob Arum's Top Rank used to be trash back in the 10's!

He's really turned it around the last few years, especially at 135.

It all makes sense when you look at the big picture. PBC is trying to totally destroy the sport by making big fights impossible. Then, when all the fans have stopped caring, Haymon is going to sign every boxer left to PBC, thus making a profit on and totally controlling every aspect and detail of every fight that happens. No one will fight without Haygod's permission. He will be given his proper respect and cups of silver and gold.

Haymon is a mastermind. A truly brilliant promoter.

Bob Arum is hands down the best promoter EVER.

Also Valdez vs Shukur just recently happend.
Also Valdez vs Navarette will so happen.

This is fight is better tha all of Tanks fights combined.

Now, other people might find difficulty in this. It’s not a wise thing to do because people aren’t buying the pay-per-views. And it costs a lot of money to do it. Even if the fighters don’t take guarantees, they hate you afterwards because they haven’t made money. I think that’s the problem Haymon is running into.

Piracy has an adverse effect surely on pay-per-view. But I think, at least from what the cable companies and satellite providers tell us, that since the pandemic, people don’t want crowds in their house. They don’t wanna do big parties with 25 or 30 people. Before the pandemic, people used to use these pay-per-view events to entertain. And if they had even 20 people in their house to watch the pay-per-view, they wouldn’t think about pirating the signal because they wouldn’t wanna be embarrassed if it went down. So, they were willing to put up the money for the pay-per-view. Particularly with the Hispanics, that’s the way they entertained. And in many cases, they all pitched in for food and for the cost of the pay-per-view.

But since the pandemic, people are reluctant to have large numbers of people congregate in their homes. And that’s what really killed the business, because you can’t think you can charge $70 for a guy who’s sitting at home to watch it. That doesn’t make any economic sense for anybody. Even if it’s $80, it’s nothing if you have 20 people. So, until we figure out how you present these events not on the traditional pay-per-view platform, but some other way, we’re always gonna fail.
Wise words spoken from a wise man.

Haney is not with DAZN, that deal ended a while ago. He was more a free agent working with Hearn, until he signed with Top Rank for kambosos fight

Atta boy Uncle Bob! Sticking to PBC and their third rate PPVs of late. Between them and DAZN doing YouTuber boxing, there is definitely a vacuum to fill. That fight will attract millions of eyeballs on cable. We deserve a break FFS.

Come on now. Bob sees the writing on the wall regarding ppv. He's not doing it for the good of boxing. He's championed ppv for years

Bob Arum is great for boxing. Such a huge fight on ESPN would be tremendous.
