The fact of the matter is these exhibitions bouts don’t give Floyd his original high premiums, but fighting YouTubers is indeed easy work.

not much to hate on him, if there’s a check involved while still keeping your name relevant why wouldn’t he do it. These exhibition fights are nauseating but hey, don’t watch it lol

There’s never been a camera that Floyd didn’t find and run up to. So much so he has upstaged his own fighters he is supposed to be promoting.

I don't blame him. Must be difficult to turn down such offers plus it gives him something to do.

Only thing I would say is he should maybe try to do something good with the money. I don't know how much Floyd does for charity but I wouldn't be blowing too much money on overpriced material things to show off.

I can't imagine why anyone would be worried about Floyd's finances... worry about your own, that man will never be broke, I mean never, ever, ever.

$30M for an exhibition bout? Damn! For that kind of bread why should he stop doing exhibitions? I would do them too.

Currency over legacy ? No Floyd that’s not true. Your legacy is already secured. You can do 1m exhibitions and that won’t change. You have BOTH currency and legacy.

It’s actually sad to see the greatest fighter of his generation associating himself with YouTubers and influencers in some desperate quest to try and remain relevant.

One of my favorite boxers, Roy Jones continued to fight until he was 49. He got KO’d in 2004 when he was 36 and he never recovered. He continued to fight for another 13 years getting pummeled by guys that weren’t fit to carry his jocks while in his prime.

Was he desperate for the limelight? Was it a desperate attempt to remain relevant? Roy did tarnish his legacy especially to the younger generation.
Joe Louis fought over 50 exhibition fights. Was it desperation for the limelight or to remain relevant?
Pacqiao will be fighting a Korean YouTuber next year. Would you call a desperation for the limelight and to stay relevant?

I mean it has to be, right?
