Everything Floyd touches turns to gold. Floyd please buy my daughter a house--she's poor. Thanks.

If it holds true that he is making that type of purses he is making more than the legit boxers. Can fault him for taking that money if they are willing to give it to him.

On top of that he likes the attention and the fanfare so he will keep on doing these things until someone embarrasses him in the ring.

I for one won't pay a dime to watch a Floyd exhibition fight.

As a massive fan it was horrible to watch. I remember meeting Roy in 2015. He was scheduled to have a fight in Liverpool against Tony Moran and I pulled a few strings at the press day so I could go and meet him. He’s a really nice guy, approachable and loves talking boxing, you could see his eyes light up when you’d mention the Toney fight, the Hopkins fight etc but it was very sad to see how delusional he was at the time. He was obsessed with winning a Cruiserweight title as he skipped over that division back in 2003, he was taking about fighting Huck who would have absolutely murdered him at that point. It was really bittersweet, I think he struggled more than any other great in regards to letting it go.

Floyd smart for getting easy money and he’s showing that he’s still in demand, why not take advantage of fools and broken people. I don’t see people complaining about all the others taking advantage of people, hell Donald Trump can care less about other broke ass white hillbillies but they support him, why? He’s a salesman of self for now and Floyd only doing what he’s allowed too.

Louis actually needed the money in fairness. It was a different time, most of the greats had to come back.

The strange thing with Floyd is he’s only chasing the attention. He doesn’t need the money and he’s not looking to add anything to his accomplishments so he’s purely just chasing attention and will sink incredibly low to get it. It’s actually pretty sad.

To be fair to Floyd and any other person for that matter, making $30 million for 6 rounds of light sparring is not something to be ashamed of.
Other than Canelo, which pro boxer today makes $30 million?

Do you think he really needs 30m? There’s a famous saying: “the richest man is not he who has the most it’s he who needs the least”. Floyd has money but he needs attention and he’s willing to sink very low to get it.

I've been saying this for a while but I get accused of being a "hater" and amateur psychologist. This is a guy in his 40s who still post pictures of his tacky ***ellery on Instagram. I've never seen any depth of character in any of his interviews, is he even capable of abstract thought and introspection? I've never seen any signs of it.

I'm sure he has over a hundred million or hundreds of millions, although not all in liquid cash.

He did say he made $750m from the fights with Canelo, Pacquiao and McGregor.

He does seem to spend a bit too much on cars, but he can do whatever he wants to, he earned it. And he has a point, legacy ain't gonna pay the bills.

Some of the all-time greatest fighters have ended up in a bad way financially. Floyd doesn't need any more money, doesn't have to do any work anymore. I think he's having fun.

I don't know why all of this comes as a surprise.

Floyd always wanted easy fights for big money even as a cherrypicking welterweight.

Only difference now is he is owning up to his bs more.
