I would have taken a point then assessed Sparks condition (he was fine but still) . I had Sparks up on my card. He was landing more often and with more effect.

Was Love supposed to be the new strategy towards the “American takeover???” Lol, poor little Edward just can’t catch a break lately, everything is going wrong for him. All that bad karma he put out in the universe is coming back to him with a vengeance. You reap what you sew….SUCKA!Comment

50/50 call in my view. He didn't throw him over the ropes, he strong armed him in the face with a particularly bad consequence that could have really hurt Spark.
With Spark fine to fight, I'd have taken two points and fight on. Love would then have to continue with a bad cut and losing on points due to his own ******ity.
But no sympathy for Love. He lost his cool, did something ****** and it cost him the fight.
Thought Spark was classy in the interviews while Love was straight out trash.
And the 'headbutt' was clearly an accidental clash. They were both coming in at the same time. Love's team is full of schit bringing that into the argument with the ref.Comment

100% correct. Good call by the ref. A lot of times I get so frustrated at early stoppages, but this was a clear DQ. Glad he didn't cave to any pressure or politics here.Comment
