There are some crazy comments on here! Racist, poor sportsmanship and everything but facts. Love showed heart in fighting after being dropped and cut but became frustrated after the cut, Fact! Love was even trying to calm his poor corner down after the DQ did you all miss that? Love corner was terrible towards David Fields not Love, he went over and even greeted the winners corner so what the hell are you people looking at? Then people always want to make Eddie out to be the worst person and use race as an issue even after he signs blacks and has put them to work, many of you are some miserable ass people. Love has to go back to the drawing board and get it together but he doesn’t need people that can’t do ****, to tell him what he can’t accomplish. Also the person who mentioned he’s a felon, so his time has been served perfect ass person. Hearn, Fields and Love all people not perfect but people. Pure embarrassment by Love he tried everything he could to not get stopped By a journeymen Including fouling. Trashy fighter with a trashy mentality.

And it seemed to me he was trying real hard to convince the doc to stop the fight due to his eye (caused mostly by his lean in) and was disappointed that doc let it go on. Then he broke inside.

The state of boxing that this is a TV main event, should be the first or second fight of a stellar card.

I have to completely disagree with this. The real problem is that casuals expect undefeated champions to headline every card. Whereas real boxing fans typically know most the fighters in an undercard of a smaller card (which this was) as well as usually one of the headline or chief support fighters are hometown fighters, which garners interest from that specific city in to boxing as a whole.
i have been a pro boxing fan for over 50 years and IMO the way to decrease viewership is to only limit “TV fights” to only a select few (and sell them tio casuals via PPV)…and the way to increase viewership is to show prospects and contenders in the come-up, specifically headlining smaller shows.

I guess it's safe to say that David Fields won't be reffing any more DAZN fights any time soon.
