Comments Thread For: Andy Ruiz Isn't Lacking Confidence As Wilder Bout Looms: "I'm Gonna Win"

Andy Ruiz Jr. has felt the euphoric feeling of being on top of the boxing world but he's also endured the lowest of lows. In December of 2016, Ruiz sulked as a chance to become heavyweight champion slipped through his fingers against Joseph Parker. But after recording three consecutive victories, the Mexican star was given the opportunity of a lifetime against Anthony Joshua three years later.

Ruiz is about as likely to win as Helenius.

Regardless what HW have talks this is Wilder's next fight. Don't know if Ruiz can avoid Wilder's right hand for how long the fight lasts but he can make him uncomfortable how lesser foes have done.

I just don't see Ruiz winning but would like to be surprised.

          How does it end?

A Wider vs Breazeale - Flatiron
B Wilder vs Stiverne I - Takes the right and an L
C Wilder vs Fury I - Takes the right and draw
D Wilder vs Ortiz I - Multiple knockdowns to a stoppage

If AJ can drop Ruiz then Wilder certainly can.

Ruiz isnt durable enough to beat Wilder the way he would have to. He would have to crowd Wilder the way fury did in the second and third fights, his short fast hands would be good for this. But he will still have to eat some coming in and I think wilder stops him.

would need someone like holyfield to beat wilder, close inside fighter. That is the best way. But it only takes one big shot. Wilder throws his whole body in his shots thats why he has so many high light reel KOs

Wilder's right hand will turn Ruiz into a vegan.

But he was peppering him with right hands like Arreola. I don't think it's a good idea to get peppered with rights by Wilder.

You need only train for one punch vs Wilder. No serious fighter should be losing to the guy.
