Strange how Bivol was considered a bum and an easy fight for Canelo just a few months back and now he’s an ATG.

Bivol is a quality fighter and I picked him to beat Canelo but I don’t see anything overly special about him.

Bivol was never easy fight. Only people who said it was easy had agenda, like they pre ferred Nell to fight someone else like charlo or benavides or whoever. Bivol was potential opponent before benavides was even known

He is good for sure, but not that good! A win over a blow up middle who was on ROIDS means not so much, but due to Canelo's popularity it does!

To those who say, Bivol isn't really that good.
Boxing isn't all about 'he hasn't faced such and such yet'. It is also about flaws a fighter has.

So please explain the flaws you see then, that can be exploited. I can't see or think of any so far.

                Beterbiev stops him.

Bivol is a good fighter, but Beterbiev is a special fighter.

In speculating, all I do is make try and make the best estimate by marrying both styles of potential opponents; trying to imagine how one responds to the other's adjustments and vice versa.

It's not fool proof, however; no doubt about the fact that there's no real way of calling a potential fight until both dudes actually get in the ring.

You're prob right, but tbf, some round here were picking him to beat Berbetiev before a Canelo match was even mooted.

The only ones who thought Canelo would sweep him aside were people like me who hadn't watched Bivol (except I corrected that by watching a few hrs of fight footage in the lead up to that one, then changed my prediction).

Real ones on NSB have been saying he's class for a while and the rest of us weren't listening.

Probably, but both are a bit small for CW, really, and Berbetiev's coming up to 40
