His fundamentals are just too good. Ramirez was as slow as a snail. So much that it was disappointing to watch. Total outclassing
I can't see anyone beating Bivol at 175

Bivol is very good, solid fundamentals, defense is elite, throws good combinations. Talent-wise he’s not Ali level, but he’s definitely Money Mayweather level in my book, just with less names on his resume.
Beterbiev reminds me of Wilder, but his power seems to be more of the thudding variety like Foreman or McClellan, rather than the Wilder, Hearns, or Shavers style of car-crash-whiplash power. Still, no one up to this point can take it.
I’m picking Bivol to outbox him, maybe take a knockdown, get up, and grind out the victory a’la a Fury - Wilder III.

Floyd would school him if they were the same weight, not even close.Bivol is very good, solid fundamentals, defense is elite, throws good combinations. Talent-wise he’s not Ali level, but he’s definitely Money Mayweather level in my book, just with less names on his resume.

Honestly, on reading that again that's a terrible post, Bivol hasn't beat a single top guy anywhere near the fighters you're mentioning, I don't even rate Canelo as the 175 version I seen turn up, if Bivol could cut it with the ATGS he would stop that chubby Canelo, he is a solid fighter but sheeese . Id bet my life Shakur as a LH would wash him.Last edited by Roadblock; 11-08-2022, 02:12 AM.Comment

Money Mayweather level? Cmon, Bivol is nowhere near an ATG level right now, but that is your view.Bivol is very good, solid fundamentals, defense is elite, throws good combinations. I don’t agree. I don’t think either would school either. Here’s why. They both schooled Canelo. Floyd schooled him several years before he peaked, and Bivol schooled him at or slightly after his peak. Both performances were comparable, while the Bivol performance looked a bit more dominating than the Floyd one to me. Bivol had a slight size advantage that Floyd did not, so I throw that out and say size being the same, Bivol doesn’t outperform Canelo more than Floyd did. But, with that said, Bivol fought a better and smarter Canelo than Floyd did.
Throw that all in the shaker, and I have that hypothetical fight going down as a split draw.
In the end, Ali destroys all three of them (Floyd, Canelo, and Bivol) had they been at the same weight; end of story.Comment

You're totally disregarding weight classes, and not seeing the difference between god given talent and being taught technique, talent like Floyd Whitaker etc make taught boxers look like chumps.

Canelo was a plodding one-punch-at-a-time fat fighter vs Bivol, he is a MW who shouldn't have gone anywhere near 175 its only his ego and being fed a few shot and second rate guys, it would be like Bivol going up to HW, you will not have the same Bivol.
Im trying to be respectful but you're so far of here Im laughing.Comment
