Did crawgord ever name these mysterious backers he said offered 50 milI personally thought that Terrence came out 100% with the truth! I know Spence sure as hell didn’t! Hypothetically speaking, if there was funding for each fighter to receive $25M guaranteed, horrible option not to at least try and sign it.
”why put a ceiling on it” was the obvious choice of answers when Haymon was one upped! Sad but true. I’m a fan of both, but lately I can’t help but to lean towards Bud.
I would really like to see this fight, but at this point, I really have my doubts that it will come to fruition

I don't even think Haymons handling of black fighters is very good either, they talk him up but you got Broner and Mall Charlo with no funds, Wilder and Spence being blocked from career defining fights with career defining money.Spence crying about GBP's handling of black boxers yet PBC does worse towards Latino boxers, always throwing them to the wolves, never letting them headline a show, look how they're handling Benavidez, he's 25 years old and can't get him a fight! 25 years old and about to fight a Dirrell and Plant leftover!
So f.uck off Spence.
I get accused of being a racist on here by a select few victim type race carers cuz I can't stand the way Haymon handles his business yet I can't stand the way he handles his business by stepping on the necks of his own stable of African American fighters just as much as he turds on other Boxers, the sport and its fans in general.Comment

Who cares that’s they don’t have a long term contract when you’re still getting all the fights. GBP loses a little control over the fighter, and if we’re truly being honest that’s what this is about. When you don’t have a long term contract the fighter and Al have all the leverage, which is how Al likes to negotiate. That’s why he’s the best.
Do you even know what happened?
Maybe stole is a little harsh but Oscar got royally shafted by Schaefer and Haymon.
Essentially that entire PBC stable was signed to Oscar at one point. It was a massive blunder by GPB to continue promoting guys without a binding agreement but Haymon/Schaefer definitely hoodwinked Oscar.
Oscar got salty when they tried to buy him out. He’s a drug addict and a liability and they didn’t want to do business with him anymore. That’s when he found out about the contracts. Al and Richard felt Oscar would cave without a roster but he didn’t. Part of me admirers Oscar for sticking to his guns but look at GBP now. In 2013 they had surpassed Top Rank now they’re a shell of themselves.Comment
