lomas only hope is being stung by all these people telling him hes slow and old now, including some of his mates, linares being one, to find it on that big night with haney, sometimes these things can happen when guys surprise people, guys can remain good mid 30's with a bit of luck

Haney looks two divisions bigger and has fast hands and feet , I too think Haney wins , He won't smoke him though.

If Loma loses then he probably retires and we get shakur-haney

What people fail to see is this fight was meant to be tough because Devin Haney is an even tougher fight. Imo Loma got his 12rds in. Barring injury, I'd expect a sharper Loma next fight.

Ortiz's stock rose in the loss. Nothing to be ashamed of because he was competive til the end and in the rds he lost. I can see him fighting for a vacant title in a couple years.

It's going to be 11-1 Haney. For Haney not to have power those opponents sure look rough after fighting him. Also the size excuse is starting to creep in but nobody mentions size when Loma was beating Guillermo Rigondeaux and Gary Russell it was nothing but high praise. I said it here and got called all types of racist but Loma isn't impressive at all the Comey fight was ok at best but it showed his power limitations and his fight with Teo was boring and this last fight was only good because the underdog was banking all the early rounds.

Same thing with Crawford vs Spence, who cares who wins, just fight.

                  F Crawford. F Spence

I think Loma is going to go life and death with whoever he fights at LW. He just winds up too slowly and he doesn't hit hard enough to consistently hurt the top LWs out there. I don't think it matters who he fights, he's going to lose too many of the early rounds before he gets going, so its going to be razor close fights from here on out for him. He's still got the speed and reflexes to compete with the top guys though, so he's not going to get blown out by anybody.

Lomachenko was the first person to say Rigo was too small for him. He (surprisinglly) downplayed his easy victory over Rigo because of the size difference.
