I agree with Shakur, Dev smokes him. He might embarrass him actually. Loma couldn't handle Ortiz's jab, movement, and clinch fighting until the guy was gassed in the later rounds. The kid was fighting his first 12 round fight, shxt happens. It should have been at the least a draw, but I thought that Ortiz won more rounds and should have gotten the decision. Haney is a completely higher level of the same type of fighter with much more 12 round experience, a faster, stiffer jab, better movement, and sharp, clean counter punching. Loma couldn't even get inside until Jamaine let him due to his depleted stamina. Haney won't let him and he won't gas out, he's 23 and has been waiting for this moment. I don't think Loma will get more than 2 rounds on the cards, and those will be out of the judges sympathy and respect for him. I could see the referee stopping it, especially if Devin marks up Loma's face like he did Kambosas, or a cut starts to leak and becomes target practice for Haney. I'm just saying, I agree with Shakur.

But the ref might stop it, especially if Loma is consistently taking jabs and counters, his face might open up. Heck, even Ortiz split him in their fight. The referee is not going to stand there and watch Loma get outclassed and punched on for 12 rounds, especially if he's leaking. He will stop it before he lets him go out looking like a punching bag.

I don't think it matters who he fights, he's going to lose too many of the early rounds before he gets going, so its going to be razor close fights from here on out for him. He's still got the speed and reflexes to compete with the top guys though, so he's not going to get blown out by anybody.
It won't be razor close if he fights Tank. The way he looked against Ortiz, he would be counting the dots on the inside of his eyelids by round 3.

Sub par fighters are easy to look good against. He looked VULNERABLE against elite competitors.
Teo & this last guy. Haney will make him look bad for 8 out of the 12 rounds. Loma will look better round 8-12.

One arm against Lopez, Ortiz after a year layoff while fighting an invasion in his home country. God forbid he take some time to find his rhythm.

Haney won’t be able to hug Loma all night, Loma won’t just stand there like George. Loma can also get inside of bigger fighters. 8-4 Loma if both are at their best.

Haney's marquee wins have not aged well at all lol. Diaz and Linares. Haney has been buzzed multiple times and his feet look flimsy. Also lacks power. I really want to see Loma fight Haney; I'll be somewhat confident of Loma's chances. I'd go as far as to say Haney might be the most overrated fighter out of the current champions.

Love to see Shakur and Haney easily outbox Ortiz, lol.
