Ring rust never changes physics rules. Size matters in boxing, highly matters.. Loma is natural 126-130 lber not more. The problem is his potential opponents ain't even 135 lbers. They're 140-147 lbers. Haney can even fight at LMW.

Perspective? In that case why did you only point out the layoff instead of the other factors? His home country is at war. He wasn't having a simple layoff where he still visited the gym regularly. You just talk shlt and needed to bring up Floyd for no good reason.

Imagine if Ortiz had real 12 round experience

He did spar Loma for his prep for Commey, so he had that experience on his side.

He looked undersized, he wasn't crisp and was not doing his usual angles.

He showed guts in the last 4 rounds to make sure he got the decision.

Also he was lucky that his foe has never gone 12 and his experience helped him out. He was at one point his sparring partner so he was not in awe with him and new what he was getting into.

His next fight should me more telling.

You used Jones as an analogy... and it is a good one! I think Loma has footwork but yeah... a lot of reliance on pure reflex actions.

Wilder’s one punch power is insane, yes. What’s the link to Loma?

There seems to be a general level of concern coming up from 130 and maintaining power. It is a rarer commodity @135 and below. We start to see real punchers more frequently at 140 and up to super middle.

Because his country being at war is irrelevant. You have no idea how long he was away from a gym for, just more excuses. I prefer to stick to facts. 10 months is not a major deal for a fighter let alone for a supposed atg (lol)
