So how many fighters who only fought once this year? Just name one and check boxrec or wikipedia.

Some didn't even fight at all like Jermall Charlo. We'll see if they can last without saying or doing anything.

      2) Stevenson vs Valdez-Unification fight
      3) Canelo vs Bivol and GGG 3-Two key fights. One finally pegging Canelo down and the other resolving the awaited trilogy
      4) Tank vs Rolly-A really good fight, was better than anticipated
      5) Spence vs Ugas-Spence's return and great fight
      6) Usyk vs Joshua II-Very good fight and was even better than the first
      7) Charlo vs Castano-Rematch for Undisputed and was nearly as entertaining as the first
      8) Lomachenko vs Ortiz-Loma's return and was better than expected
Let's not forget Bam Rodriguez, Joyce-Parker was fun and Beterbiev-Smith was good on paper at least

There has been decent match ups but the big fights that had to be made never materialized. A lot of talk and no action.

On top of that there have been no real barnburners of the marquee matchups or a cinderella story.

The girls had a couple of big fights this year that were not bad to watch.

You can list all the good fights of this year, it still felt like it was the worst year.

Boxing has been a business since before any of us were born, I get that. Lots of politics. But man, it has become way more than just a business in a sports sense. It’s a business to the point where boxing has lost its identity of just a bunch of guys fighting with rules for money/entertainment. It’s just 100% about money now. Not even 10% about fighting the best.

I rarely watch boxing nowadays, so my knowledge of this year's fights is sporadic.

                What do you mean, man?

Boxing has been slow this year, but things are looking up. We got Hasim Rahman vs. Vitor Belfort to look forward to this weekend.

If you are a true fan of the sport, go on USABoxing "Sanctioned Events" and go support a local amateur boxing. Boxing just isn't about Pros.
