Boxing isn't dying, its flat out just dead.
From the mid 90s to Present, I don’t remember a worst boxing year

I agree 100%. And it’s disgusting and de****able. I’ve been more and more a UFC fan, and at this rate, I may leave the sport of boxing behind altogether after my current favorite fighters retire. There's an increasing trend of fighters who have no intention of actually fighting each other, negotiating publicly for a fight when it's all about building each others names and who wins public opinion of "who ducked who" when both guys are already privately negotiating to fight a lesser opponent.
Fury - AJ
Crawford - Spence
Tank - Garcia
There are probably more examples of this but it's getting a little worrying that this kind of thing will get worse. I hope those fights happen very soon because they're gradually becoming less interesting/relevant and if they don't happen, this could end up being the marketing strategy to build fighters up in the same division against each other but never having them actually fight so the respective promoters don't lose their 'cash-cow' and the fighters don't lose that precious "0" while both guys can claim to be no. 1.Comment

No shi.it UFC is interesting. If I am not mistaken , in UFC you have only one belt holder in each division. All contenders must fight him if they want to achieve something.
I am telling you, we need one belt only in each division.
For example if you have Craford as the champion at 147 and Spence as N.1. contender, Spence must fight Crawford.
But it won`t happen, too many interests and networks are involved.Comment

Really? I think it's been a decent year overall..
1) Haney vs Kambosos I and II-Undisputed for Lightweight, as boring as the first fight was....we got the top two of the division finally fighting
2) Stevenson vs Valdez-Unification fight
3) Canelo vs Bivol and GGG 3-Two key fights. One finally pegging Canelo down and the other resolving the awaited trilogy
4) Tank vs Rolly-A really good fight, was better than anticipated
5) Spence vs Ugas-Spence's return and great fight
6) Usyk vs Joshua II-Very good fight and was even better than the first
7) Charlo vs Castano-Rematch for Undisputed and was nearly as entertaining as the first
8) Lomachenko vs Ortiz-Loma's return and was better than expected

Let's just say it's a contact sport where most fights have no rhyme or reason to get made.
It's not a sport that you can follow like following a tv series. Big wins don't translate to anything bigger. Fighters get inactive with no reason to.Comment
