Sweet Pea, I never saw Pep or Locche so I couldn’t consider them

Locche. A boxer's offense contributes to his defense, due to the mental game of having something coming back.

Locche would completely turtle up, plant his feet and only move his torso at times. Plus his power wasn't enough to garner respect. Just 100% defense.

A prime Wilfred Benitez deserves to be in this conversation to, he was almost impossible to hit at his best.

Do yourself a favor and go watch some Pep the Locche, especially Pep.

I considered him, but his defense didn't cut the mustard like these 5 did.

Mayweather has the most versatile defense ever. He can defend from multiple guards in multiple ranges using his gloves, head movement or feet. He'll also make you pay for your mistake.

              I'd go with Mayweather.

Its relative to who you fight which makes the question very subjective, in my eye, Pea and Floyd had ungodly eyes balance and positioning, when you consider who they fought and then realize out of the 1000s of shots thrown at them by elite fighters they were only ever hit really solid 3-5 times, their hand-eye coordination was computer science of the brain.

Only all of them that were televised.

Solid fighter but hardly a defensive wizard if you ask me. This is the first time I've ever seen him considered in this type of conversation.
