Why is it always Fighters who train with him and Bernie his Boxing Equipment Carrier/Waterboy, always speaking for Bud. I like Bud so no disrespect to him, but him as well as Spence need to become much more talkative. That is exactly why the fight is not as BIG as it is suppose to be with Casuals

And considering both are managed by Al Haymon.... I mean, come on. I don't even really buy it. One of those "send an email you don't expect a response to" kind of offer, maybe.Comment

I’d like to hear the other sides to that claim. Ortiz and Thurman were likely offered peanuts if they were in fact offered the fight on serious terms.Comment

I don't doubt Thurman and Ortiz were offered the fight, but I don't think Vergil would just say yes without consulting GBP and DAZN. So it's not as simple. I don't know what's Thurman's excuse when he's been hinting that he'll fight Crawford if the fight is offered.Comment

Fighting Crawford, you're probably going to lose. I can see why young prospects don't want that smoke.
Ortiz is in that Jeff Lacey phase of his career. As we've seen before, you don't simply walk into Mordor and fight Joe Calzaghe with ~19 wins just yet my pedigree chum. Unless you live in a caravan that is heh-heh. Get ~25 wins, go after everybody.
Thurman I can see ducking too because the bigger money is getting an Spence opponent slot. If it's good enough for a hagglin' Mikey Garcia, it should suit Keith Thurman quite well.Comment

Stop making excuses. Ortiz is literally a 2x mandatory to Crawford. His team does not want the fight. Why in the world would they petition the WBA to have an eliminator with STanley? Did you miss that memo? Keef already said he wants a 10 million guarantee to fight Crawford. Delusion. Guess you missed the memo too.Comment
