Enough to know that Gatti is over-hyped. His class of competition (other than DLH) pales in comparison to PBF's.

rouge warrior to clear things up i never mention Gatti's competion was better than PBF's. B/c it isn't, so you might of read it the wrong way or it came off wrong.
Reguardless, my point is Gatti has fought some game opponets. Back in the day Gatti beats Tracy Patterson twice, KO's Gabe Ruelas and beats a veteran in Rodriguez ( a great fight to have, pick it up if you dont). So I dont know what you all are complaining about, recently Branco was the #1 contender for the WBC, than Dorin was ranked in the top 3, and Leija pulled of a surprising upset over Bojada (who Gatti would have faced if not for the upset). Gatti is fightin everbody the WBC is makin him fight, and it hold true with the fight against Mayweather
Its funny to hear everybody say he is overrated, to me thats the biggest pile of **** I ever heard. Nobody gives him credit for what he has done. All his fans know he does not posses the best boxing skills but that does not make the man a bum, in my eyes a bum is fighter you doesnt live up to his potential greatness, and Gatti had exceeded his potential twice and then some.
But again its cool all the nah sayers said hed retire after ODH and the man comes back and wins his 2nd belt, people were sayin Dorin is gonna win a war against Gatti, Arturo knocks the guy out in the second round and now people are taken back all the prasies they gave Dorin, now the guy is garbage.
Well than call Gatti the garbage man b/c cleanin out all the trash at 140, and Mayweather is next on the list.
LONG LIVE ARTURO "THUNDER" GATTIComment

DLH was heavier than Gatti and was way too big. Mayweather is coming up. Get your facts straight.Originally posted by NiGe2011First off allow me to say "screw Gatti"- people give this guy too much damn credit. He somebody who built his reputation by KO'ing guys about fifteen pounds smaller then him (see Joey Gamache) and has been one of the most protected fighters in the game ever since. Sure he can be fun to watch but he is gonna get WORKED by Mayweather and that is a fact. Remember what happened against De La Hoya? Think that type of fight all over again!Comment

Smart money says Mayweather, but not because of Gatti's performance against Oscar. Gatti moved up to DLH. Mayweather's coming up to meet Gatti. Not the same at all. Sure, Mayweather will pepper Gatti's cement-like head, but he will also get tagged. I'll pick Gatti to have more effective punches, with more damage, than Mayweather's arms-length shots.Originally posted by NiGe2011Sure he can be fun to watch but he is gonna get WORKED by Mayweather and that is a fact. Mayweather will probbly be surprised at Gatti's power, and may have to adjust. Either way, we can be assured of one thing, Gatti will show-up, so Mayweather will actually have to fight the guy, despite the "win" that all the PBF fans are sure of.Comment

lol
That's funny. It doesn't surprise me that th eonly statement I made supporting Mayweather is also the only one you agree is a fact. Let me set you straight again, little boy.Everything else is opinion, and speculation.
1) To classify someone as a bum, is to classify someone as the lowest piece of bitter material a fighter can possibly be. To say Gatti is a bum is a gross exaggeration. Gatti is a solid fighte, and therefore cannot be a bum. He may be limited, but all fighters are to some degree. Mayweather may be better p4p, but that doesn't make Gatti a bum.
2) Gatti WILL outweigh Mayweather big-time inside the ring. Gatti has come into the ring at 160 while Mayweather can barely hit 145. It is a FACT that Gatti will outweigh Mayweather by a big number come fight time.
I rooted for Dorin and picked him to beat Gatti. Many people picked Leija to beat Gatti. He tore through both of them. This doesn't make Gatti great, but it makes him better than a bum, because bums don't handle their business. Anyone who calls Gatti a bum from here on out is truly a hater, and since haters don't use logic, you wil promptly go on ignore...although I'm sure you won't care.Comment

I am not talking about the fight being similar as far as who is coming up in weight- I am just forewarning that Gatti is gonna take a slow beating. And we have yet to see if Jr. Welter is the best weight for Gatti- the only real competition we have yet to see him in the ring with is Dorin (for two whole rounds) and a Leija who had to leave his walker just outside the ring.Originally posted by m00ksDLH was heavier than Gatti and was way too big.
