Let me Clear things up about Arturo Gatti

First off I will touch on the upcoming fight with Floyd Mayweather. Yes I believe and know Gatti is the underdog, but I still believe Gatti will win. He has the heart, and when he hurts PBF he will finish him.

And for the people who say look how Gatti performed against the Golden Boy, Oscar stopped him early and PBF will do the same. Wrong!!! The facts are Gatti moved up im weight to fight Oscar and Oscar proved to be too big. Now look at the facts, PBF is moving up in weight to fight Gatti. I see Gatti beefing up the day of June 25 and his thunderous left hook will inflict major damage on the body of mayweather and his face.

For the people who say Gatti has had no competion, he fought a journeyman in Ward, let me tell you something, Mickey Ward has more heart than Mayweather ever will have and then some. Branco was a game opponet, you people seem to underrate him a lot for reasons unknown, Dorin is a good fighter, fought Spadafora to a draw, Gatti was too big for him, and Leija, well Gatti shoulda fought Bojada (who I see this board puts him on the list of the the future superstars of the sport) but Leija beat Bojada. So Gatti gets Leija and Leija gets KO'd

And what really pisses me off is that the peole who say Gatti should retire after this fight win or lose. I say to that simply, bull****!! This man this the only light in boxing today. After Mayweather he goes to fight maybe a Witter ,and a few other than, Vivian Harris, Zab Judah, and hopefully punish that Cotto fool!!

It's obvious that you are a gatti fan, but let's be serious you knowo like most "real" boxing fans know that Mayweather is going to do Gatti something bad. Mayweather has been fighting so relative unknowns, but Gatti has been fighting nobody's. You metioned Harris, Cotto, Judah and Witter also. I believe that atleast 3 out of the five fighters you mentioned will take gatti's belt once if he ever steps in the ring with them...

yeah Gatti has tough heart and getting strong in these match.
Conpered Floyd Mayweather,Gatti experienced much tough fights like Word,
Oscar and so on. Mayweather didn't prove his super light weight best performance. That's why I think Gatti has chance to win this super bout.

Gatti has something that in our era of boxing we have not seen. He has heart,he doesnt retire for 2 years and comes back later when his opstacles are older,he doesnt quit after being dropped 3times and not beng hurt when he still has a chance to win the fight,he hasnt always been all about the money...h has true heart. Yes he doesnt have the best boxign skills (eventhough there getting better) but his will/power/heart will always give him a chance against anyone and whether he wins or loses on June 25,he will come out in people eye's as the man the showed up and came to fight with will and power and didnt hold back because he knew he wsnt as skilled. Gatti is something rare in our days but people should be glad that we have the man. I think gatti said it best:"Floyd doesnt sell the tickets,i sell seats"...if this were anyone else i would be pissed that they said it,but this line is true, gatti with his trilogy against ward brought a lot of heart and attention to boxing again and he will try his heart out against PBF,and if it goes into late rounds and he knows he's behind on the card's he will make it war,so hell yeah he has a chance.

In response to I Stand Alone... Lets see how Gatti handles PBF, I think he definetly win this fight. As for Cotto, Gatti would make a fool of this guy, same with Witter, Harris would be tough too. But I say After Gatti beats PBF, have a tune up fight take out Witter, than move to Harris, have another tune up fight or two than Kosta, the fight which everybody wants to see at 140! Forget Cotto guy needs to prove himself to mentioned in the same breath as Gatti.

We probably will never see how much heart Mayweather has until he gets old, because his skills and talent are what's holding him up. He doesn't need to dig deep to beat opponents...especially opponents the calibur of Gatti. Gatti is not going to have any success trying to outbox a master-boxer his boxing skills aren't that great, either, but I guess if you put bums in front of him, he'll look really good jabbing. Gatti can't win, quit lying to yourself....Gatti is a bum, I'm sorry, he's just a bum..

Coomon sense say he'll get schooled (I find he telegraphs his punches a lot and I don't know how he'll ever catch floyd). But he's the modern day Rocky, how can you not root for him.

Mayweather will have is way with Gatti, he`ll bash him up and teach him a lesson. i like Gatti, he is an honest warrior type of fighter but don`t kid yourself, he can`t beat mayweather!

Gatti is the last thing from being a bum. You don't leave a mark in the sport and be a called a bum. Even if you don't think highly of his skillz.
