I think PBF may be too much for Gatti, as much as I would like to see PBF get his head knocked off. May need to wait until he faces Tszyu for this though, if this match actually happens.

I don't know about the difference at 130-135 but corrales stopped castillo, so he is a hell of a puncher and maybe harder than gatti

Corrales is one hell of a puncher

the thing is when Chico fought Mayweather he was at 130

Chico is 5'11 u know how weak that made him??

and PBF was at 130 where he was at his best...

a 140 Gatti is a lot bigger than 130 Chico

Gatti is the bigger guy..he punches like a monster now..

Im not sayin Gatti will beat him but he has a big chance to

Even though you don't even know it, I'll give you Gabe Ruelas. But, I want you to justify everyone else you named.

Tracey Harris Patterson was a good Gatti opponent? **** no he wasn't you ****** *******. Explain to everyone here how Patterson was a good Gatti opponent. Then explain why Gatti needed to fight him twice.

Branco? I'm very interested to hear this one. LMAO.

Wilson Rodriguez? Hmm...please prove me wrong and tell me how good Rodriquez really was.

Leonard Dorin...I can understand why you'd list him. People claimed he was good. And you know what? He is the 2nd best, behind Gabe Ruelas, of the people you named. That speaks volumes as to how good Gatti really is...not very. But let us dig deeper into Leonard Dorin. He was robbed in the Spadafora pillowfight where the two least powerful guys at 140 brawled. People said it was great. But then you have to ask yourself...was Spadafora really anything? No of course not, he was clearly a mafia made fighter with a seriously padded record. And before you try saying "well Spadafora beat Manfredy" let me tell you that I saw that fight and I am 100% thoroughly convinced that Manfredy was paid off or threatened to lose to that bum. He literally, no exaggeration, sat there lightly tapping Spadafora with his punches. He was CLEARLY pulling his punches. Anybody else see this fight? Someone had to, verify this. Someone might have it available for download.

Anyhow, I look forward to you enlightening me and everybody else as to the reason Gatti's opponents you listed are good.

I've argued back and forth with many Gatti fans and none of them came up with some of those names you threw down as good opponents. The fact that you're a Gatti fan already exposed you, but thank you for this topic. Ya know, there are laws against exposing yourself, you fake boxing fan.
Great just what we needed, another arrogant, name-calling, opinion attacking jack-off that thinks he's the only bonofide boxing fan on this site. (yawn)

Whenever he stepped up in compettition i.e. Zab Judah, Vince Phillip, he lost and lost handily. Branco was a tough out, but is he better than Jose Luis Castillo, and Carlos Hernandez...both PBF recent opponents. I can feel your passion for your man, but PLEASE research and think about what your saying before you claim that Gatti has better compettition than PBF. As for your "Gatti is the only light in this sport" comment, i'm sure Many Pacquio, Erick Morales, Felix Trinidad, and Marco Antonio Barerra would beg to differ. All these guys can sell out the house too.
I don't think he was saying Gatti's opposition made him great, just using it to defend him against being called a bum, my two cents.

Mayweather has been fighting so relative unknowns, but Gatti has been fighting nobody's. You metioned Harris, Cotto, Judah and Witter also. I believe that atleast 3 out of the five fighters you mentioned will take gatti's belt once if he ever steps in the ring with them...
How did you ever come to that conclusion.LOL!

The Gatti-Mayweather fight should be entertaining at the least, but Mayweather is just too good for Arturo.

Also, I think Arturo's punching power is slightly overrated. In his BIGGEST fights his punching power was damn near non-existent. Where was all his power at against WARD, MANFREDY and IVAN ROBINSON?

I'll give him credit for stopping Dorrin so fast, but lets be serious... Dorris was beaten by Raul Balbi in their first fight.

Plus, Dorrin had NO POWER at Lightweight, so of course he had less than nothing at Jr. Welterweight. He was a safe fight for Gatti.

Mayweather has been in with SUPERIOR fighters like Corrales and Castillo. He's going to SMASH Gatti.

What kind of boxing "fans" are you that dont respect Gatti. And respect a women beating arrogant punks like Judah and Mayweather over a class act like Gatti. Gatti had power when he fought at 130 pounds where he was IBF Champion that is what allowed to beat tough opponents such as the Spaniard Rodriguez. But he was killing himself to make the 130 limit. Now that he is at 140 pounds and is older his strength is fully realized..

Gatti will hit pretty boy floyd with a left hood to liver and Floyd will go down. Then Floyd will get up and get hit with a Left hook to the head, and after a couple of straight rights another left hook to the liver then Gatti will stand over Mayweather's limp corpose and say "how do you like that boy" and this time Mayweather overrated punk ass will stay down and hopefully retire in fear of ever recieving another thrashing as damaging of what he recieved at the hands of Arturo Thunder Gatti.
