Comments Thread For: Peter Fury: The 7-3 Score For Shields Ridiculous; Marshall Fight Could've Went Either Way

Peter Fury feels good about what Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall accomplished for women's boxing Saturday night in London. Tyson Fury's uncle, who trains Marshall, didn't have a problem, either, with the United States' Shields winning their 10-round

Peters been at that magic dust again if he thinks that fight could have gone either way. Shields was much better than Marshall. Marshall was one dimensional plodding forward and not landing much. outclassed. He s obviously struggling to accept it. His advice in the corner was nonsense too

No! No! No! While I agree that Savannah made the fight a lot closer towards the end. However, there is no way that that fight could have gone either way. Shield’s was the obvious clear winner in this fight. Even Marshall admitted it herself that she lost the fight. Claressa did a real paint job on her.

Youre right Peter, it was possibly 8-2 not 7-3. Claressa beat the s**t out of her first 5 rounds, made excellent adjustments in latter rounds and was never in any real trouble. Too fast, too slick & too much ring IQ for savannah.

Fair play to savannah shes a dog

Peter Fury has been in boxing for many many years.

                    His adult life I think.

Astonishing to think, he though that fight could go either way.

Also astonishing that during training his fighter, she's ended up just a plodding forwards, not using her reach, no head movement boxer.

And during the fight he didn't even advise her to use her reach, move her head, stop smothering her own work.

                    Awful trainer.
