7-3 was about right tbh. Shields controlled most of the fight with her superior hand an foot speed an outworked Marshall in there especially the first half of the fight. Was competitive to a degree but not really close was a comfortable win for shields in the end but Savannah did make her work harder than she usually does

I scored it 8-2 so 7-3 is being kind.

Savannah would do much better if she had a sharp and frequent jab to keep fighters like Claressa out of range. Then she could drop the right hand when there is an opening. Claressa is a better boxer overall but unfortunately a bad role model for women with all the arrogance etc. Women should look to Amanda Serrano, Katie Taylor & other nice women for role models.

You know, obv. Marshall’s got the Fury style, but she was uncannily like Joe Joyce on Saturday at the pace she was setting.

Not saying she’d necessarily KO Shields, but really feel 3 min rounds would really get the best out of Marshall’s style.

At 2 mins, she’s gonna struggle to break down a high class opponent, and that’s her only chance of winning with the amount she got clocked

Hahaha, if you’re trolling, I have to give you respect, but in how many threads have you conveyed this sentiment now?

We don’t want identikit, corporate sports personas; we want characters, and no amount of 1950s gender stereotyping will make real sports fans feel any different.

Savannah is the absolute worst boxer I've ever seen.

7-3 is about right, she's soooo bad.

7-3 for me, maybe 6-4, but that’s being a bit generous. Shields buoy a big early lead and then gave away a couple of rounds being out worked on the ropes

To be fair, Shields does seem pretty loud, arrogant and annoying. People are entitled to think that.

She has acted professionally and respectfully to Marshall post fight though. And fully deserves that win, no doubt.

Agreed about the lack of a sharp and frequent jab from Savannah. The rest of it, not so much.

I agree somewhat with Fury. I had it a two point win for Shields. Savannah was graceful in defeat,
and will likely sharpen up her game for the next performance. It was an all around good fight for women's boxing.
