I was hoping it could be Usyk, particularly if Fury ain't fighting him right away. But given that Usyk did not show up, I would say Usyk will probably wait for Fury in March/Apr. A Wilder fight could be possible only if Fury moves on to fight Joshua next.

Other than that, it would be Ruiz Jr if and when WBC orders it as the final eliminator for the mandatory position. If that will take time, it would be some guy at the lower end of the top 15, maybe Efe Ajagba, Pulev, Wallin, Miller, etc. Wilder can practice some of the techniques he learned and give another KO to raise his profile. But the next competitive fight for Wilder would be either Usyk or Ruiz Jr.

I would be happy with Ruiz or Sanchez and I think those are at least somewhat realistic compared to Usyk, AJ or Joyce.

Didn't they already have plan for Ruiz to fight him. PBC will rather do in house fights but if Usyk wants Wilder why not

He'll KO taco merchant Ruiz first who got outboxed by 70 yo Ortiz and barely won due to KDs.

Then, Joyce and Fury tetralogy are possible. But, if he doesn't wanna "inevitable" CTE, he should stay away from Fury. He already will have CTE probably.

I was hoping that Usyk would keep his word and he would be next. But understandably the unification with Tyson Fury will take
            precedence.

So Andy Ruiz Jr will be next, which is still a damn good fight.

It will be Ruiz. It's an in-house fight that positions winner for another crack at a belt. No shot it's someone like Sanchez who has no fanbase and often fights to level of competition (and who I'd favor over Wilder).

                Usyk?
Ruiz. Finkel said it in an interview. The plan is 2 bummers then a big fight.

Sanchez is very underrated man.. He need a fanbase. Maybe his shy personality is effective on that.

I think they bypass the Ruiz eliminator and fight Usyk when hes healthy.

He doesn't deserve a fight with Usky yet so I say Ruiz who called him out. Then winner gets title shot.

I wish Joshua was coming off a win then that fight would make sense
