It’s a fierce competition but is Warren the least fan friendly promoter in boxing. He’ll give us this fight and add insult to injury with a nearly unwatchable undercard.

That’s what i said yesterday. Hunter would be a good stay busy fight. I’m assuming Usyk won’t be ready before the spring?

Secondly, if it was a real fight, Chisora is done anywhere near that level. I like to see him in 50/50 fights, but he looked awful v Parker 2, he shouldn't be allowed to fight above B level anymore, maybe C.
As someone pointed out yesterday… Joshua’s last win was against Pulev whom Chisora just beat recently…

I don't mind a Fury v Chisora fight. It would be fun enough and he's entitled to an easy voluntary after a contracted rematch and a mandatory defence.

          But:
          - Chisora the highest ranked opponent (he's obviously not)
          - Would have been Usyk in December (don't be silly, he just fought)
          - Would have been Joshua if he signed the contract within two weeks (don't be silly, fights like that don't get signed in two weeks)
          - Will fight Usyk in Feb. The most laughable of all. When did Fury last fight twice in 6 months, never mind 2?

Fury would be so much better just fighting who he fights rather than coming out with the crap he and his team talk.

Promotion is part of the sport but I think they overestimate their own importance. Better to say nothing than the rubbish above.
          Oh, the irony.

          1. Chisora is the highest ranked opponent available for Dec 3, only Hunter who robbed Forrest for a draw can be argued against this.

          2. Usyk fought on Aug 20 which would have given him 4 months to prepare for undisputed on Dec 17, stop with the excuses. What happened to demanding fighters be active?

          3. It is well documented that AJ's camp ceased communication citing Fury's second social media deadline as the reason for doing so. In reality, they folded after thinking they were calling a bluff.

          4. Fury fought 2 months between Seferi and Pianeta, 3 months between Schwarz and Wallin, 5 months between Wallin and Wilder 2 and 6 months between Wilder 3 and Shyte. Why do you think he originally wanted to fight in Nov, but pushed the date back to accommodate AJ?

Fury made clowns out of all you who thought he was fighting Charr and were demanding a much stronger opponent. Guess what? He delivered!

I don't mind Fury taking an easy stay busy fight as long as Fury vs Usyk takes place next year. I'll just skip it, but how on Earth are they gonna sell this hot garbage matchup? Fights weren't even close to justify another go lol

Boxing really is a ****ing masochistic joke sometimes. 90% of most big name fighters careers consists of stalling as they inflate their records and milk things as long as possible with random opponents while avoiding the obvious elephant in the room fights.

I think everything going on in Usyks life he needed a break. Let's hope it happens, i was disappointed myself but after what the Saudis paid, you can't blame him.
