I dont believe in "triangle theories" all that much as far as outcome is concerned, but you can clearly see the speed difference looking at the common opponents of Pac and Floyd. Floyd has the speed edge all day.....
man, chew it...pac is faster than floyd...

You're not suggesting that Mayweather is afraid because he didn't call out Pac at the presser are you?

        It coud break records.
He's right though a lot of people are over looking Cotto. The thing is, everyone wants Mayweather to fight another small guy. Once he does its, Mayweather fighting the smaller guy and dodges the WW's all over again.

Along with very few people I beleieve Pac will not get passed Cotto. If Pacs corner or Arum really beleieve that just because Pac lasted with De La hoya and Hatton means he can handle Cotto they are all in for a treat.

Cotto can take hard punches from Marg and fast punches from Mosley. What does Pac bring that Marg, Mosley and Clotty didnt? BTW all 3 are REAL WW's not some little guy that at the end of the day everyone will say Pac was to small etc etc etc... Everyone saying Cotto doesn't have a chance will back paddle to the Cotto was just too big and it wasn't fair.... same will go for Mayweather if that fight would ever happen.

I'm a fan of Pac and PBF but lets see a REAL WW fight. I'm tired of Mayweather bustin' up these smaller guys. At the end of the day Manny will be outclassed out punched and outdone in every way possible. I give Pac a chance but that's about it. Mayweather SHOULD be fighting REAL threats. Pac IMO is no. You all, or most people that don agree with me will see when he fights a REAL WW. not a dehydrated (smaller/unhealthy/old Hoya or a destroyed already beaten down Hatton.... I feel ya though PBF vs Pac would break records. It also would have many more people hating Mayweather for beating yet another small guy in Pac.

why would he call him out? cotto vs pac hasn't happened yet it would be logical to fight the winner, but now somehow i want him to fight shane, shane would give him a better fight.

You have a point BUT I think he's going to fight both. There is a lot of hype over all of these guys and if Cotto beats Pac his stock will rise. The little out rage WWE smack talk with Mosley raised his and sets an outline/motive for a future fight. Mayweather is setting himself up right. He knows what he's doing. At this point its selecting the right guy at the right time for the most money. IMO he will fight them all.

Of course it will take a long time because Pac isn't getting past Cotto.

Cotto needs to destroy Pac to win that fight. Too much politics and money interests involved for the judges to give him a fair decision. Much like DLH vs Sturm. If Cotto destroys Pac, Mayweather won't fight him because it's too risky for his undefeated record. I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather fought Pac if Cotto wins.

                  Catch Weights

Remember how Pac agreed to fight DLH at 147 and dominted but wouldn't agree to the same deal with Cotto.I believe that at the weigh-in DLH came in at 145 and Pac at 144. At fight time DLH only gained two pounds over night. My question is if Pac knew he was fighting a game DLH would he have agreed to a 147lb limit. In my opinion, no. So why not fight Cotto at 147. Pac knows that Cotto is not the DLH that he fought. I still think Cotto is going to win and punish Paquiao. That's right, PUNISH. Pac is a great fighter but who has he fought that was an impressive fighter, the three Mexican brawlers? I'll give it to Pac, I won't be shocked if he beats Cotto (even though I think he's going to get punished). But even if he beats Cotto he' going to get waxed by PBF. Neither Cotto or Pac could beat Floyd. Floyd is straight nasty.

His first tune up bout could have been against a Luiz Collazo or Berto, instead he fought a great little man and purposely avoided coming in on the agreed weight (just my opinion). I'm tired of these ****ing catch weight exhibition circus bouts. It seems those who love Floyd defend style over subtance. Floyd needs to start fighting in his own division because this act has grown tiresome, if he can't do that just have another exhibition bout with Henry Bruseles with Shambe Mitchell as the ref.

Cotto will beat Pacquiao by KO because we all know Cotto will not get the decision in Vegas with all those Pacquiao fans and all the Mayweather talk. Cotto knows this so I expect Cotto to throw lots of power punches and pressure Pacquiao from the start.

Everybody is believing the hype but they're not looking at the facts or the physical science of it all. Here are the facts:

                      Pacquiao's last eight fights:

                      - Ricky Hatton @ 140 lbs (Overrated - When he fought quality, got KO)
                      - De la Hoya @145 lbs (Old weight Drained)
                      - David Diaz @135 lbs (David who??? LOL)
                      - Juan Marquez @130 lbs (Most boxing experts think he lost those fights)
                      - Marco Antonio Barrera @130 lbs (Please !!!!)
                      - Jorge Solis @130 lbs (Jorge who ???)
                      - Erik Morales @129 lbs (Pacquiao got his ass kicked)
                      - Oscar Larios @129 lbs (Oscar who ???)

                      Miguel Cotto's last eight fights:

                      - Joshua Clottey @147 lbs (Fought a tough fight with a tough fighter)
                      - Antonio Plasterito @147 lbs (Was winning fight till 7th round then got rocked by plaster)
                      - Alfonso Gomez @147 lbs (Ate this guy for lunch, destroyed)
                      - Shane Mosley @147 lbs (Beat Mosley 2 yrs ago at his own game)
                      - Zab Judah @145 lbs (Beat a very fast Zab (who rocked Mayweather the first couple of rounds)
                      - Oktay Urkal @146 lbs (Beat a tough European dude - destroyed)
                      - Carlos Quintana @147 lbs (Destroyed in 5 rounds by KO - This is the guy that beat Paul "the destroyer" Williams)
                      - Paul Malignaggi @138 lbs (Paulie has no power but he's fast - Destroyed)

The difference between Pac and Cotto is that Pac fight little boys and Cotto has fought with true solid recognized Welterweight and destroyed them. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!!!!!!!!!! DON' DON'T DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE !!!!
