Canelo is out for the next year for surgery.

If Benavidez is so ***ing great then why dont he go fight, and beat, Bivol and show us all how its done.

Being that canelo isnt fighting anyone, the best way for Benavidez to prove he is superior is to defeat Bivol at 175 with no rehydration clauses.

Gotta love these people who think Oscar is some pillar of credibility. Would definitely like to see the top guys fight each other. Why aren't Charlo and Benavidez fighting? They're both PBC. We'll see what happens when mandatory obligations start coming due, but there's nothing to start a rash of irrationality like talking about Canelo.

I’d love to see Canelo fight Benavides. You know what I’d of really liked BEFORE their fight? Benividas fighting at least 4 men in the last 2 years with a pulse.

Although Oscar is a vicious pathological liar, he isn't lying here. Canelo will never fight Benavidez. Oscar knows this, because he was once the architect who guided Canelo's career, and he moved him very carefully and skillfully, avoiding tough fights while giving him smaller guys moving up, old faded once good fighters with a name, guys who were inactive or coming off a knockout, or some other style Canelo could look like a million dollars against. Well I'm 22. Sorry. But in all seriousness. How can you call Canelo a coward for who he fought...but not David based on who he fought? Canelo is coming from 154 and fought all the title holders at 168. But David isn't even pressured to move up at 175.

Which is a complete bull**** coming out of his mouth, Benavidez is leap's and bounds way better than all of those former opponent's that Canelo fought.
Canelo has the audacity to tell a report who asked him if he would fight Benavidez, "don't disrespect me" how in the hell did that question disrespect him?
How about the enormous disrespect have for boxing fan's, in lobbing so hard to fight Yildrim who wouldn't last more than one or two rounds with Benavidez.
Now that was real disrespect for the boxing community as a whole, and he didn't have no shame at all in perpetrating that fraud, instead of fighting the legitimate trilogy against GGG.
For all of his past accomplishment's, he is starting to tarnish his legacy going back a few years now.
