Ray’s 147 was with day of the fight weigh-in. With a day to rehydrate, Ray is too much for Floyd, as is Hearns. To be fair, 147 was probably not Floyd’s best.

Imo, Srl, is the faster, more devastating puncher of the two.

Floyd does best against slow starters, but Ray was a quick starter with fast hands who could match him in the determination department. Ray’s stratospheric self-belief also rivaled Floyd’s. I could see the first half of the fight looking a lot like Mayweather - Maidana I, with Ray pushing the pace hard and Mayweather doing just enough to deal with it and stay a half step or two ahead of Ray. In the latter half of the fight, I could see Ray solving the Mayweather puzzle. Ray wasn’t bothered too much by the Philly Shell defense, and I could see him putting together some upstairs - downstairs combinations that would begin to chip away at Floyd’s punch defense. Ray was a true blue 15 round fighter and a brutal finisher. I think Mayweather would make a strong showing of himself, I just do not see it going the distance.

As much as I was a fan of Floyd as a fighter it's hard to say he could have beaten Sugar Ray I would probably bet on Leonard winning a decision

People saying he would have knocked Floyd out I don't see it at all Floyd had incredible stamina and conditioning and could take some seriously heavy shots flush and recover fast so no way he gets laid out but probably out fought over the distance
