You guys are to blame for Spence/Crawford not happening

Spence is more past it than Crawford even if he’s a little younger. Spence has fought the best welterweights and also went through that car accident that cut his prime short. Spence is equal to a boxer in his late 30s now. That’s why Crawford is desperate to fight him. Spence himself, in the Ugas prefight interviews, said his career is almost done due to the car accident. Crawford heard this and quickly left TR.

Crawford is an opportunist. Good fighter, but way better matchmaker.

Arum offered to make this fight. He said FOX and ESPN would easily co-operate for Crawford-Spence. But PBC blocked the fight as they have every other top clashes. Now they’re footing the bill themselves, with less promotional power, FOX barely pays them because they’re so sick of their sht, and they still have to include them in the cut from the PPVs.

If it doesn’t happen. It is entirely the PBC’s fault.

Word is also Crawford has accepted the lower percentage. This fight not happening is plainly Spence and company are scared of the man. The risk is too much for them.

Thank you Al Haymon. Crawford has to get hernia surgery and gets iced for several more months while Spence gets another fight in. Horrible decision to leave Top Rank. PBC is trash. Clearly, they are setting him up and shelving him, want him as old and rusty as possible in the Spence. Guaranteed he isn't offered a tune up after surgery and break. I would say Spence is as much to blame as Crawford. Both guys seemed more interested in money than fighting each other to prove who's the best.

First off this this isn't Spence or promoters fault Spence wants to prove he's the best ww today but it takes two to tango and Crawford doesn't want it. He's content with a half ass career because you guys have praised him for it.

TR, media, ESPN etc were quick to praise Crawford for facing bum after bum, ESPN did what they do and said he was "p4p the best" when anyone who knows boxing would tell you thats BS his resume is nowhere near p4p best.

But you guys went with it and started saying this guy was the best when he clearly wasn't. Now you guys have created a monster a Diva monster he's thinks he's worth more than he really is but he isn't. Crawford would have never been mentioned along the fab 4 of the 80s not even close. He doesn't care to prove it either because ya told him he was the best by beating bums so why would he have to prove it against top comp like Spence.

You guys have to live with that now.

Don’t about the other fundamental element of this argument: namely, the assertion that Crawford has a giant ego. Maybe, maybe not.

I want to focus, however, on your key point: ordinary people don’t own newspapers, or sports websites. With that in mind, their power to influence contemporary discourse is limited relative to those with far greater economic power.

What I’m saying here is this: if you think ordinary boxing fans are subject to the cultural trends started by others, not instigators of it. More likely that they’ve regurgitated what public figures and their various commercial backers have been saying. Just like in politics.
