    Joyce's chin can be dented

I am on the Joyce hypetrain.

I think he walks through Fury, who doesn't have the power/stamina to keep up and AJ/Wilder if they don't knock him out, and also lack the stamina to last.

Usyk may be the only one who beats him imo, simply because he's southpaw, moves and has the stamina.

    BUT
A glimmer of hope for those who were freaked out by the big man walking through Parker yesterday.

AJ did stop Joyce in first round the AMs, ABA Final, no video of it that I'm aware of, but the ref gave him 3 counts

AND Kuzmin did stop him in 33 seconds as well. Had him on his backside early, but to his credit Joyce actually didn't look too hurt, classic amateur stoppage.

Also, Algerian Hamza Beguerni, who didn't win another amatuer fight of note, stopped him in the first round of their bout in the Am World Championships.

All first round stoppages. Looks like jumping on him early and not letting him build a rhythm is the way to go.

Just posting to give some hope to the fans of the other heavies lol

VIdeo here of Kuzmin stopping Joyce:

If you punch anyone on the chin enough times they will fall over.

The human body is not built to be punched.

          - - Deyonce duck Joyce sans the career purses like he did the career purses of AJ.

Of course he can be hurt. But I suspect you've got to catch him clean, unaware and do it repeatedly... And you've got to do it while he's coming straight at you and still throwing punches.

Wilder certainly can't do that (has to be perfect for more than 3 seconds). Joshua maybe could and would be a great fight. Fury could. Usyk wouldn't dare try, he'd try to move for 12 rounds.

He's a long hard night for anyone. My biggest concern for Joyce is that no-one keeps punch resistance as they get hit more and get older. There's a cumulative effect to what he's taking - eventually it goes.

But I've been waiting to see what happens when he steps up. Parker was a step up and he took some big shots from a proper heavyweight at the top end of the division.

              (1) Amateur stoppages are always very early compared with professional stoppages.

              (2) Amateur Joyce was 240 lbs, not 270 lbs, and did not have the subtle defensive skills he has today.

Only Wilder has the potential to stop Joyce.

You got it the wrong way round; he would walk through little Usyk but gets schooled by Fury.

I suspect that he walks through Wilder as well, but if Deontay detonates some of those big right hands, perhaps the tree might fall.

Joyce has already admitted that a 30 stone Fury took him to school in sparring, he's got no chance against the Tyson of today.
