I've never been a huge fan of Joyce' but he's now brought me round to his side.
I think he'll be a more devastating boxer if he learns how to snap out his jabs and rights rather than pushing them out clumsily. He also seems to have to position himself for left and right hooks. But there's no question that he's relentless in his attack and can take a punch better than a punchbag

Parker is a gatekeeper now. I mean, two Chisora fights were a red flag obviously, if you struggle twice like that with old Chisora, than you can`t beat top guys.

The problem for Joyce's opponent will be that he doesn't just bring pressure, he brings effective pressure, the kind that hurts every second of every round.
Parker always had extremely good cardio and never got tired in any of his fights, that all changed when he met the Juggernaut.

If you were a HW right now, would you fancy fighting Joyce? Would you fûck. You know you’re going to get the best cardio workout of your life, and odds are even when you land flush he’s not even going to blink. So you’ve got to plan to outbox someone who’s in front of you throwing hands for every second of 12 rounds, has surprisingly good timing and a monster work rate.

Usyk should be able to do it, but I don’t like how easy he was to hit v Chisora. The current Fury isn’t that hard to hit and that would be an interesting fight. AJ gets drowned within 7 or 8 rounds and would be blowing like a hooker after 3 unless he can somehow crack Joe’s chin. Same with Wilder. Whyte isn’t even worth mentioning at this stage. I don’t see anyone else bothering Joyce.

Looking at the punch stats, Joyce threw the best part of 100 punches in each of rounds 6-10. When you’ve got a man of his size following you around the ring at that stage of the fight, throwing that amount of punches, it’s going to be a tough prospect for any of the current heavies. Especially when your best shots bounce off his head and he doesn’t even flinch.

The Heavyweight division is such an exciting division all of a sudden after so many years in the doldrums.

I noticed that too. He cuts the ring of very fast and that's one of his strengths.

Great fight! It went almost exactly as I (and I'm sure plenty of others) predicted, with Parker landing big shots and being elusive in the early rounds (though Joyce took more of the early rounds than I expected) and Juggernaught punishing Parker, draining him, and finishing him off in spectacular fashion late in the fight. Gotta say, I was impressed with Joyce continually giving himself punching room - starting early. Taking steps back to keep the distance and not get his attack smothered. He was patient and had good punch selection. Hopefully, many of the naysayers will give Joyce credit for his cerebral beat-down of the Kiwi. The Immovable Object, crushing everything in it's path, shaking off fantastic shots from Parker, pressed forward, smartly, and beat him down. Sure, he's a plodding fighter and get's hit clean a lot, which will likely be a problem facing fighters like Fury and Wilder, but he's every bit his nickname. And he showed a lot more wrinkles to his game against a top-notch opponent. And Parker showed me a lot more than I expected. My respect for him is real. But Joyce is a force. I loved the way he constantly glared at Parker at the end of every round, laid his 271-lb frame on him every time Parker clinched while on the ropes, and - after he wore him down with shots to the body and head - showed little respect for what was coming back at him while he plowed forward. And I was impressed with Joe fainting upstairs and going downstairs or the converse of that, throughout the fight. While far from perfect, Joyce emphasized his best qualities - power jab, power shots, relentless pressure, volume, and a fantastic chin while mitigating his weaknesses in foot speed, head-movement, and hand-speed, as much as can maybe be expected. I thought he'd have better head movement, based off of his pre-fight comments, but that wasn't the case.

it looked like Parker expected to be backed against the ropes and corner ropes and strategized how to work that to his advantage. And he did a good job. But the Juggernaut was just too strong, imposing his will and ultimately finishing the fight with a massive left hook sending Parker crumpled into the corner. It's amazing Parker was able to get up within the 10 count. Good stoppage by the referee, though.

It was everything I hoped for in this fight. Kudo's y'all. Thank you.

Unrelated point on tonight's fight. I just think Dubois also put in a really good effort vs Joyce, in retrospect now when you see how top Heavyweights like Parker also struggled.

Dubois points wise made the fight actually closer than Parker.
Yeap, that's what happens as we go forward - the picture becomes clearer. Although Joyce is 2 years older he also is more experienced. But even though it was a loss, that fight has aged well for Dubois.

Ruiz has fast hands so he will land but I don't think he hits harder than Dubois or Parker. His feet are NOT fast so he will get hit a lot by Joyce - stylistic nightmare for Andy.
Joshua has a punchers chance, especially with uppercuts - but if they fight right now I thing Joyce might be betting favourite
