Well not cotto that was Bob.

The 5th- Canelo- you guys claimed he fought too early.

But hey Manny got more than $40 mil no ppv for turning the fight down so all his fans should be happy,

oops his cowardice got rewarded with the ko of the decade and $28 mil with the bulk of the ppv.
I don't care about how much money Floyd got. Thats for his Gucci shoe shine boys like yourself.

I didn’t mention Floyd’s money. I mentioned Manny’s reward for his cowardice in turning that offer down.

Floyd admitted to overmarinting fighting Manny, of course to wait Manny out physically, and to maximize the overall profit from the demand that was built up from him ducking and stalling so long.

          - - Ducked the Oscar rematch to retire in an epic mental breakdown where he cried into his towel in front of the press, wiping his nose before wiping his face while Ellerbee cooed gently into his ear.

Manny who always had more ppvs because nobody want's to watch a l'l floydy stinker back then when men was still men and not U, so Manny steps in as TBA emergency replacement for l'l floydy who could only manage a hotly contested split decision over Oscar.

Net result is Manny KOs Oscar to retire him for good in a record setting ppv that made him Fighter of the Decade. Manny with better results vs common opponents.

U setting new squallin' and bawlin' records...

Don't know how it started, but nowadays It's brought up mostly and strangely enough when there is no clear A side or B side.

              In Hollywood.
              You have marquee names.
The name with the most fame gets top billing.
That line of business even works in concerts.
              Why not boxing ?
              Pretty standard.

Floyd was not the first to do anything he just played the game better than most its like this generation of fans only see Floyd, fighters rate themselves all the time; when a person is in open competition its human nature for them to see their position relative to anyone else, we all do. Now add in who gets the bigger slice of a pie, and you have A and B side making their claim.

Fans all too often look through the eyes of fans, it's better if they try to look from the fighter's perspective that's where reality is.

Yes there is, its in the negotiation room where lawyers present hard and fast numbers to divide the budget, the only fight in so long where the A side Mayweather was forced to take 50/50 with the B side Manny, it was because the fight was so big it didn't matter, near all other fights the A-B is decided by the numbers, just like Spence getting a little more than TC was because of his numbers no other reason.

It's negotiating from a position of strength, compared to a position of comparative weakness.

                    It's been around forever.

What frustrates me is when two parties clearly need each other equally and still want to argue who is the A Side.

I've seen it in others like Joyce and Parker in their press con.
                      It's very amusing.
                      Origin? Leonard.

Who made it mainstream? I say Ward and his people. He wss saying that about Froch, Golovkin, Kessler, etc.
