Comments Thread For: Bob Arum: We Don't Think Hearn Wants Fury-Joshua, Knows Fury Will Knock Joshua Out

NEWARK, New Jersey - Bob Arum doesn't get the sense Eddie Hearn genuinely wants Anthony Joshua to fight Tyson Fury next. Representatives for Hearn's Matchroom Boxing and Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions have discussed at length

Then why did you offer it to him? It’s almost like they want Hearn and Co to turn it down.

There is no reason why Hearn shouldn’t want this fight. Aj has peaked and it’s all downhill from here on out. Perfect time to cash him out before he gets embarrassed by another underdog.

Joshua needs to take this fight barring some really extreme clause in the contract sent where it was intentionally to make Joshua not be able to do this because there’s several ways to do that .

One things constant in the history here , don’t trust Warren or Arum .

At first i was thinking...why not take the money. But as this saga ramps up its becoming more obvious that Warren/Arum are trying to psychologically push AJ into the fight while hes still vulnerable. They are trying to play on Hearn/ AJ ego.
            And this statement.....
“He’s not gonna wait around for crazy money from Saudi Arabia. I mean, that’s not good for boxing fans. You know, occasionally if you do a fight in Saudi Arabia or Abu Dhabi or Qatar, it’s OK. But you don’t just sit around and wait for them to put on a fight. That’s not good. That’s not good for the sport.” is one of the ******est and most dishonest statements Arum has ever made. He...like all promoters does nothing for anything less than the maximum amount of money he can pocket otherwise fights dont get made regardless of what the fans want. No pay....no play.

Arum is a scumbag A lying low life turd just like his cousins who steal other people’s homes and land.

That said, Fury does not need to create stipulations or make this fight difficult to make because AJ is officially a gatekeeper and will never beat Fury, Usyk or Wilder.,

Add Fres Oquendo vs Curtis Harper on the undercard, and I'm buying that PPV.

This has just been boring posturing from the jump. Fight was never happening in December and this has been bound to fall through & amount to tireless finger pointing from the get go

LMAO what? Joshua has 3 losses now. Why the absolute **** would he not want to fight Fury? hes got everything to gain and nothing to lose in that fight. Its pretty much a lifeline for him.
