Arum isn't particularly good at hiding what he really thinks. 90 years on this planet will do that to your brain.

It's very clear from this interview that this was posturing from the start. He's into the blame game before the fight has even fallen over. And here was me just starting to think that it might happen.

The sad thing is that the old man thinks people believe what he says.

When Fury was going through his rough spell, Hearn offered him a path to AJ. Bellew-Whyte - AJ

Now AJ has back to back losses, and clearly not in a great place mentally, he’s been given a short deadline to fight Fury in 3 months.

That tells me all I need to know about whose team really wants the fight

I think they have to get this fight signed for this year, or it probably won't ever happen.

Joshua knows this might be his last big opportunity to fight Fury.

Arum, Warren, and Hearn, just never seem to get it to the finish line!

Even though I fear this fight might derail undsiputed, really into the idea of this now.

With that in mind, all this **** talking, from Warren and Arum better be negotiating ploys to advance the interests of the fight.

If the intent to the **** talking is inherent in its nature, namely, just **** talking as an end in itself, then WOW.

Knew promoters were largely dodgy, but that weirdo historical debt and subsequent lying of Warren's to Honest Don King woke me up to how much bull**** crossfire these fighters get caught in.

In an ideal world AJ/Hearn would want an interim fight or two. Get some confidence and momentum back. Not sure he can wait though if he wants Fury. He can't be sure the fight's still there in 12 months time

Lmfao you really are this lazy and easily manipulated , aren’t you?

Fury had abused his body for 3 1/2 years with no training never mind fights.

why would he face a two world champs and a top contender In his first fights back? He fought wilder after 7 months of training.

The same wilder Joshua an Eddie did all they could to avoid. All they had to do was give wilder a respectable %. They had no issue letting Joseph Parker have it in a fight that generated a 3rd of what wilder brought to the table. But AJ didn’t wanna be undisputed.

The fact you left out that this offer was For FURY TO SIGN to Matchroom. That’s a HUGE part of the offer you left out kiddo. But it’s okay, I’m back here to educate you again my son.

But you gotta do better son. Seriously, if you plan on being a fan of this sport, you need too do ya homework and not regurgitate an Eddie Hearn interview YET AGAIN.

Now let’s look at who’s on record as wanting this fight.

                Bob arum
                Frank warren
                George Warren
                Tyson Fury
                Anthony Joshua
                Sugar Hill
                258 Management
                —————-
Now let’s see who Doesn’t want this fight:

                EDDIE HEARN.

Eddie is on record stating he doesn’t want Joshua to take this fight. That’s because Eddie whole stable rely on Joshua doing well. Unfortunately for Eddie, if Joshua takes this and lose he knows Matchroom are doomed.

There is a whole lot on the line for Eddie regarding this fight. And warren has made sure that Eddie has no excuses.

                tv deal sorted.
                split sorted
                sharing sponsorships
                sharing the promotional duties.

This has left Edwards back against the wall and his only way out is going to diminish there stock. It’s a masterstroke from both warren and fury.

this is what you call the ultimate UNO REVERSE CARD.

if only Eddie had humbled himself and treat fury with respect a few years ago, He wouldn’t be in the position he is now!

                moral of the story?

Keep ya feet on the ground!!

Bob you’re copping out. Just come out and say it that you don’t want Joshua to face Fury not Eddie Hearn.

No matter who's side you are on. At the top level of business, giving potential clients 24 hours and days to decide on take it or leave it proposals? Is not really professional. I have honestly never seen such behavior in recent times at the top level of boxing.

Lets think back to when Haye vs The Kiltschko's were in long negotiations, there was never no 24 hour mandates or take or or leave it threats.

I don't think Tyson Fury has been bluffing, the man wants to fight Anthony Joshua. But he has definitely been opportunistic, and is taking advantage of what he thinks may be a advantageous time to face Joshua 'This is very clear'.

But in all honesty, I don't think Joshua or anyone should really complain about that. This is a opportunity, with potential upside for Joshua. In any other era of boxing, fighters would take this opportunity.

Muhamad Ali after losing his first fight with Joe Frazier, had to fight on for 14 fights until? He got another title fight vs George Foreman. 14 fights and almost 4 years.

Ken Norton Twice, Joe Frazier again, Joe Bunger, Jerry Quarry, Floyd Paterson, Jimmy Ellis, Oscar Bonavena, George Chuvalo again. Bob Foster.

I am just naming a a few of those fights.

Yes this is a quick turn around fight for Anthony Joshua, and business wise? I don't think he needs to take the fight. Joshua can easily go away and do his own thing, his next fight without Fury, is a bigger fight than Fury's next fight without Joshua or Usyk. But if Joshua is a competitor, and he is also about the Glory 'Then somehow he has to come to a point in these negotiations, were he takes the fight'

Automatically he will get big credit, especially from those people who know boxing. They all know why Fury has jumped at Joshua now, and deep down 'They know this is a unprecedented situation'. Joshua is jumping straight back into another elite level fight, against another undefeated fighter.

                      And this statement.....
“He’s not gonna wait around for crazy money from Saudi Arabia. I mean, that’s not good for boxing fans. You know, occasionally if you do a fight in Saudi Arabia or Abu Dhabi or Qatar, it’s OK. But you don’t just sit around and wait for them to put on a fight. That’s not good. That’s not good for the sport.” is one of the ******est and most dishonest statements Arum has ever made. He...like all promoters does nothing for anything less than the maximum amount of money he can pocket otherwise fights dont get made regardless of what the fans want. No pay....no play.
Arum correctly has no real love for the kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the royal house of saud. A nation that has single-handedly financed most anti ***ish terror groups and operations globally and has been known to hand out the “protocols….” at its embassies while dismembering journalists and outlawing any religion but Islam. So yeah, don’t expect arum to lockstep with the Saudis
