He looked bad against Plant too. I had him down until the stoppage.

This 32 year old Canelo would have been beaten by a 36 year old GGG (first fight shape). This 32 year old Canelo would have been beaten even worse by a 32 year old GGG. A 40 year old Canelo would have been murdered by a 32 year old GGG. So no, this does absolutely not prove that Canelo was always better than GGG. It just proves that a 32 year old Canelo won a decent decision against a 40 year old GGG.

Yup, power dont mean much if you fizzle out fast or if your too bulking and move like a body builder.

You're right. The only truth is that 32 year old Canelo was finally able to get a deserved decision win against a 40 year old GGG.

My scorecards were 8-4 Canelo with GGG sweeping the last 4 rounds. GGG should have done more but I don't believe that had anything to do with his age. Canelo made GGG think twice bout what he wanted to do so that is kudos to Canelo's improvement. A very good trilogy that could have been great if GGG applied himself more in the 3rd fight (at least early on).

                I want to see GGG-Charlo or Canelo-Benavidez.

Isn’t it an interesting coincidence how Canelo always gasses out when he fights Golovkin? Funny how his stamina holds out in his fights with Billy Hoe, Plant, Smith and others, but when he fights Golovkin and Bivol he’s gasping for air and tripping over his feet by round 7 or 8. If you think this is just a coincidence then you’re a Canelo groupie. His best opponents require a lot of energy to compete with and so he fades as the fight goes on. He wasted a ton of energy just trying to win the early rounds with Golovkin. Canelo was getting picked off with the jab and had to fight hard to gain the edge with old G. Old man GGG is still a much better fighter than most of (if not all) the other super middleweights. Benevidez has lots of potential though, if he can continue making weight…Not sure how long he will be able to stay at SMW though.

That guy said GGG lost 8-4 - he also critiqued GGG in that post - he also said GGG took the last 4, which I don't agree with - I still liked his post and said 'good post' because overall it was a solid, rational post.

So what exactly are you talking about? Lol y'all are slow, I swear
