He once drew against Canelo in a fight that could've gone either way. He also lost twice to Canelo, one of those fights was close.
What else? There was a lot of promise of him dominating multiple divisions but it was just hype.
He defended his middleweight titles for a while against nobodies mostly.
I think that pretty much sums it up unless I'm forgetting something?

Could not get Martinez to fight him
Could not get Ward to face him at 168 while it made sense for Golovkin to make that fight
Could not convince Canelo to abandon 155 till Canelo could not physically stay there any longer
Could not entice Floyd to fight him at 154
Greatest middleweight of his time and it isn't even close.Comment
