People are somehow still gonna hate in this fight and say he chose a easier opponent even tho Golovkin has won his last 4 fights and is still a world champion lmao yet Demetrius Andrade can get away fighting bums like Jason Quigley and Jermall Charlo can fight bums like Juan Macias Montiel and yet the ldbc racists will say Canelo is fighting nobodies roflComment

Are u saying u think he can do something different next time? If so, can i ask what u base that on? Nothing in his last performance suggests that. He wasn't flat or out of shape, Bivol was just better in every way.Comment

Expect Eddie Hearn to do everything in his power to block that rematch. Eddie realized he overestimated Canelo's overall ability the last time and he doesn't want to ever do that again to Alvarez.
It's because Bivol was supposed to have been a cherry-picked opponent for him just like Gennady Golovkin is supposed to; So he could steal Ginger back away from the PBC with these low risk and high reward easy fights he has been feeding him.Comment

What Canelo could do better to beat Bivol? nothing Bivol is bigger better boxer the result will be the same.Comment

I picked Bivol, and still feel Canelo deserves tons of credit for rumbling with one of the 2 top LHW in the world. In spite of his win over Kovalev a few years ago, I saw this as a HUGE gamble and a man challenging himself. I still have more respect for him unifying at 168 and stepping up to Bivol than I do most of the fighters sitting around protecting their "0" or fighting trash opponents to keep a worthless strap around their belly. I do not care if he does not rematch Bivol. I am fine with a third cash-cow fight with a 4 decade old Golovkin. I think he has earned some latitude. I also think he has a chance to lose to Golovkin so it is not a gimme fight with zero stakes to it.
However, the point about 7 others before me brought out about how he brags on making his own decisions, until it is time to defend not rematching Bivol when he was "forced" into this fight instead when he really, really, really would rather fight Bivol again is kind of hilarious.Comment

How is the risk perceived for a rematch? Will Canelo be accused of cherrypicking again or will he get full credit this time for fighting Bivol?Comment
