So Canelo deserves credit for facing Bivol because he makes the decisions in his career. But he doesn't deserve criticism for not rematching Bivol because other people make the decisions in his career.

It was very smart to avoid an immediate rematch against Bivol, because it wasn't like it was a close fight. He had no answers. Barely landed anything, and when he did, it had no effect on Bivol, and Bivol was able to hit Canelo almost at will. He was beaten soundly, his little red ass was thorougly kicked that night.
