Why are so many people trying to pretend Marquez was a legit opponent for Floyd and was the same fighter that gave Manny hell? That Marquez had none of the speed, power, or reflexes of the 126 or 130 pound Marquez and still many are acting like Floyd just beat that guy and not a Marquez that fought Mayweather 3 divisions higher than his best. How do you people convince yourself of crap like this?

You want to know what would happen if Pacquiao had fought a Marquez that slow and weak? He would have put him down cold within 6, like Floyd could have done at any time but decided not to for no reason I can think of but to make the win look more legit when some kid who never saw the fight looks it up on the internet.

A Floyd fans favorite word: IF
Mayweather would have fought way too cautious for him to do anything like Pacquiao did.
That's what seperates their excitment levels.. Pacquiao takes risks, Mayweather doesn't.
Mayweather would not have taken the risk and fought a defensive fight all night either way.
& you forget, the weight just evened things out between Pacquiao and Oscar.
So it was a fair fight. What Pacquiao lacked in size the dehydration made up for.
You forget that Pacquiao was jumping up like two weight classes and Oscar moving down.

And sane people fully admit that. But what Pac did to Oscar De La Hoya is far more impressive than what Mayweather just did to Marquez. There's actually a basis to be really impressed with what Pac did to DLH, there isn't much a basis to be impressed to the extent nuthuggers are acting like they are about Mayweather pot shotting a helplessly slow and weak Marquez.

No Fans of PBF are really praising it as some huge resume boosting win however the way he dealt with Marquez was great, all tho expected.
pac moved up because it was a natural growth. marquez moved up to chase pac. this shows why pac is great he can move up weights and maintain his speed and power and reflexes. marquez did not have none of those.

Also Floyd was fighting a 36 year old Featherweight whom fought Pacuiao at his optimum weight or one his more optimum weights "super featherweight title " and Floyd came in like a full fledged Light middleweight.

The weight clearly effected his speed and you could tell he looked a bit past it because his reflexes were poor, dont give me this BS about Maywather was making his reflexes look poor, he would of been making them look poor to a degree but not that bad, he was **** slow in that fight.

I keep hearing people say he beat up a LW but Marquez is not a LW he was a Featherweight.
blame the ****in press people like kevin iole...

or those cretins @ sky sports DK...

lol. how do you know he would have had him out cold within 6! pacman has already fought him twice and most people that are not in the phillipines think marquez beat pacquiao. I appreciate that this was a bit of a mismatch, but at the end of the day, not many people were saying that floyd will win every single round.
