Cus D'amato claimed guys with my skeleton structure (Hearns) punch the hardest. Was he right?

I don’t know. I know the punch that often knocks you out is the one you don’t see coming. That’s why throwing your punches in combinations and setting up the knockout is more important than having one-punch knockout power if you don’t know how to create the openings. Hearns had great power from his lanky frame, but he was a pan excellent boxer who created those openings with combinations. Most of Holyfields knockouts were achieved the same way, creating openings with combinations.

From my personal experience the fighters whose punches hurt me the most had fast hands and knew how to deliver their punches through the hip in one rapid motion.

But he'll Get robbed by the judges since Usyk is Ukrainan. He must KO him, I fear. .

Btw, Fury has developed into a great puncher himself.

I agree that tall, long, lean and wiry guys do have the advantage when it comes to punching power because many of them are naturally heavier than their opponents in each respective weight division. Many of them often strain themselves just in order to make weight. Which is the reason why they are appear so thin and strong at the same time. Some of these guys are cutting more than 40 pounds just to make the weight.

I think he will KO him. Early in Fury's career he was known as a puncher, but he was fighting with no style and every fight was just a scrappy brawl, then Peter Fury mastered him from a defensive standpoint, and he became a master boxer, then people just assumed he could not punch, but everyone sparring him said massive power, which has since been proven. The man can ****. Up there with anyone, except Wilder. Nash out.

Also, he claims with Larry King that Tyson never connected with him. Which is a lie. The very first punch connected lol.

                  Evander Holyfield: George Foreman.

Dude. Fury has MASSIVE arms. There's no way he doesn't have power from that alone. His power shots were awful though until the last Wilder fight were he really went next level. Now he can both **** and jab...

If you watch Hearns footwork he was always putting himself in position to get the most torque on his punches from the legs through the hips and shoulders.
