Great scrap if it gets made but from a business standpoint they should be happy with Crawford getting about 10 million and Spence getting around 12.
I admit to being as sceptical as you about this fight getting made next.
I also don't think there +$20million in it to split between them.
Or that Crawford is in a very strong bargaining position to get more than what arum used to guarantee him tbh.

I hope Crawford is not demanding 50/50! I know he's undefeated, but Spence has 3 titles! In other news:

Anthony Joshua accepts 40/60 split to face Tyson Fury, according to Eddie Hearn

Now that's how you get a fight done!!!

Feels like this is taking too long. They've been negotiating this for months, should at least be on the horizon.

          Main points to negotiate:
purse split & percentages, venue & network, referee & judges

Surely you guys have people working around the clock to get this thing sorted out, right?

It's apparent that Crawford and not Spence is the hold up. You mean to tell me that Haymon can make Floyd v Paq, Floyd v Mac, Wilder v Fury, Broner/Keef v Paq, Spence v Danny/Porter and all the other fights he made happen but all of a sudden he can't figure out how to make Spence v Crawford. Even when terms were reached between Spence v Paq it was Spence who admitted that although he was the favorite to win the fight he acknowledged that Paq was the A side and he knew Paq deserved the lion's share of the purse. Haymon has a certaib way he pays his fighters. You get a guaranteed minimum and the better the fight does the more you get on the back end. The problem is Crawford thinks he's PPVweather and he should get a high guarantee but it don't work that way. That's why Bob complained about how much money he lost on him and Haymon aint about to go that route. Neither is Eddie or Oscar. Crawford needs to realize that PBC is his only option where all his fights are. If they can't figure the Spence fight out then there's no need to discuss Jermell. It's getting to the point where it's time to move on and make Spence v Keef and tell Mr Crawford good luck with the rest of your career, whatever that will look like!

I get it we all want this fight to happen asap. You are correct, but Crawford can say that he's already been undisputed and has been in the p4p top 2 or 3 ever since.

Charlo got the belts at 154, but rewatch the intro, when he showed the house and said champion life style or something... that's Spence's crew... I won't make any assumptions as to who's holding things up, but I personally don't think Spence has a good negotiating strategy. He had to have his best performance ever (technique wize) against Ugas and that finally gave him the courage to call out Bud. Spence would be chasing Canelo for a retirement check like Andrade if the Ugas fight had been close like the Porter fight. Just my gut feeling, hope i'm wrong.

Bud did become Undisputed @ 140. He beat Viktor Postol, which was cool, but can you name the other 3 belt holders he beat? Spence beat Brook, in the UK, Shawn Porter, and Ugas! He won 2 of the 3 by KO, and broke both of their faces! Crawford beat Jeff Horn! C'mon, JEFF HORN! Crawford is P4P Top 3, Spence is the #1 Welterweight in the world! He has the WBC, WBA, and IBF title! Spence deserves nothing less than 55%!

If they fight, the winner will be remembered in 10-20 yrs. If not, both will fade from memory. Claiming to be the best without fighting the best falls short.

You heard Crawford - he believes he's a lock mostly because he "Beat The Man That Beat The Man" (Jeff Horn).

WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford is hope to secure the other top names in his weight class. On Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, he dropped and stopped undefeated mandatory challenger Egidigus Kavaliauskas. Crawford is having trouble securing the other names - because nearly all of them are promoted by Premier Boxing Champions, who have exclusive content deals with Fox Sports and Showtime.

                      And we said:

Yet after Crawford beats Horn and Manny beat three other guys (meaning he was NOT washed up), not only does Crawford hang his hat on Horn as a signature win, now you got NSB cats flip flopping talking about it as the win that makes him #1 at 147 because Horn beat Manny - and all of a sudden they rate the win. ONLY because Crawford beat Horn.

I'm serious. You can't make up this hypocrisy.
