I think that’s what will see Spence win. They aren’t fooling themselves. They aren’t underrating Crawford either. That kind of professional mentality sees victories when backed by toughness and skill. They see him as a tough challenge and will go in that and that usually means a W.

I know Spence has been looking ripped, and back in top form since the accident. But a concussion is a concussion, whether it happened inside the ring, or outside the ring. And the facts are, Spence has been knocked out b4. In fact, he hit the pavement and was knocked out way worse than a knockout in the ring. So much so, that he stated b4 that he doesn't remember anything of the accident, and anything for the next two weeks afterwards. And we saw him hurt against Ugas, spaghetti legs and all, and Ugas isn't known for being a big puncher, although he's sharp. So we know Spence has been brutally KO'd, and also that he was wobbled by Ugas. He recovered well due to his excellent physical conditioning, and yes, he went on to punish Ugas, but Crawford can definitely hurt him if Ugas was able to. If Bud hits him with the right shots, Spence can go, no doubt about it. Whereas, Bud is fresher, since he's never been KO'd, and also because he hasn't done any damage to his body with alcohol, which Spence has. Bad concussions and alcohol, can both affect a fighter in many important ways, like punch resistance, the central nervous system, the liver, the brain, etc. I think this will be a hard fight for both men, where each will have to dig deep, and for the above reasons I mentioned, as well as others, I'm going to go with Bud, whenever they meet, whether by decision or by KOLast edited by archiemoore1; 09-07-2022, 11:23 PM.

Even when terms were reached between Spence v Paq it was Spence who admitted that although he was the favorite to win the fight he acknowledged that Paq was the A side and he knew Paq deserved the lion's share of the purse. Haymon has a certaib way he pays his fighters. You get a guaranteed minimum and the better the fight does the more you get on the back end. The problem is Crawford thinks he's PPVweather and he should get a high guarantee but it don't work that way. That's why Bob complained about how much money he lost on him and Haymon aint about to go that route. Neither is Eddie or Oscar. Crawford needs to realize that PBC is his only option where all his fights are. If they can't figure the Spence fight out then there's no need to discuss Jermell. It's getting to the point where it's time to move on and make Spence v Keef and tell Mr Crawford good luck with the rest of your career, whatever that will look like!
GB tries to make Santa Cruz vs Rigo - Haymon comes in and buys Santa Cruz contract given Cruz and his dad say you don't want to see us fight Rigo bc that fight would be boring (only pebble brain boxing fans believe this kind of nonsense). A counter puncher vs a come-forward zero-defense guy. See Lara vs Angulo and Hurd. Yeah, those styles matched up are boring.
Kownacki and Ortiz turn down AJ fights
Benavidez, Charlo and Plant STILL haven't fought each other.
and so on
The reality is Crawford would be active and have 2 fights under his belt this year if he was still with Top Rank. It doesn't matter if it is Bob or Santa Claus he would be active.
Always some weirdo excuses when it comes to PBC.
They don't want the fight, didn't expect him to leave Top Rank or for Bob to let him go. Haymon was thinking of a Mikey and Bob situation again.
No excuse we don't have a fight date.Last edited by hhh1200; 09-07-2022, 11:58 PM.

So why are there reports Showtime and Espinoza want the fight but Haymon wants Spence vs Thurman (they were supposed to fight as early as 2017!). That sounds about right when it comes to PBC and its history.
