      Here's the thing..

You're assuming that he beats those guys, but what's sad is that we may never get to see it because Floyd Mayweather isn't willing to put it all on the line and fight the best fighters.

He has proven and stated that the money is the most important aspect of him taking a fight. If this means fighting low-risk, high financial reward fights, then let it be.

But don't expect boxing fans to show him any love for doing that.

Now, Floyd can change things of course by fighting quality opponents, IN HIS WEIGHT CLASS, but that remains to be seen whether or not he's willing to risk it.

Even before this fight, I knew Floyd would beat Pacman if they ever fought, but after watching last night's fight, I'm 100% convinced he would beat him as bad or worse due to Pacman's offensive style. I'm one of the few who do not want to see Mayweather vs Pacman but I know it will make both boxers ALOT of money so be it. I would rather watch him beat up Mosley especially after what he did in the post fight interview. I thought it was funny but I bet Floyd didn't.

I also think Floyd doesn't get props or the credit he so much desires or complains about in interviews because he doesn't challenge himself. What I mean by this is, he should have stopped Marquez, but didn't due to his known habit of not willing to take any risks. (that can be good or bad) I also think he can beat Cotto, Mosley, and Pacman because I believe he is just that more talented and smart. Of course he should fight them to prove it not just assume things, I would prefer he fight true WW as oppose to little guys.

Also, if he is so great like he says and some of his biased fans proclaim (you know the ones pointing out only the people who went blindly with Marquez in this fight and not the reasonable ones who stated Marquez won't do anything to him and it will be a UD for Floyd) what is wrong with Floyd taking on REAL CHALLENGES before he RETIRES AGAIN? Maybe moving up in weight after beating either of these fighters Mosley, Cotto and Pacman. When he beats them who else can he fight at 147? Only other thing I think he can do is get another belt in his 6th weight division maybe a catch weight of 158??? After all his biased fans state weight doesnt matter as long as he has his skills, so be it, but honestly most fighters usually keep moving up challenging themselves further look at Pacman.
your thinking one way... not even considering how floyds brain would concuss

after a taste of pacs power. like i always have said, pacs not marquez.

his style can pierce through mayweather as opposed to counter puncher,

limited offense range provided my marquez.

nah, it would be better if pac punches you, and floyd marries you.

LOL! If he fights them all, most posters here would fall off their chairs from the shock of it, and if he beats them all, he'd get more respect than he's had at any time since he beat Castillo in the rematch seven years ago. The reason he's being criticised so much is that he doesn't fight Welterweights. The thing that amazes me about Floyd worshippers like you is that they don't seem to be capable of understanding that simple fact.

All of the greatest fighters in history fought the best contenders in their own weight class. Floyd hasn't done that for seven years.

He has plenty of talent, comparable with the best of the best. But ATG status is not based on who someone would have beaten if they had fought. ATG status is based on the fights that actually took place.

Lets talk about the one boxer that physically and in terms of talent can give PBF a real run for his money... Paul Williams... the man is left handed, has a wonderful jab (rare for a southpaw) Has some pop... 84" reach, 100 punches per round average... great stamina and real skills. PBF wants to impress the boxing world he needs to fight this man... and beat him easy and then I might consider him one of the greats.... but fighting a feather weight and not being able to put him away is not convincing to me... you know Sugar Ray Robinson would of KILLED JMM with one shot... just look how he knocked out Jake Lamatta.... anyways love the fact that PBF is an awesome talent but I would like him to put his record and legacy where his mouth is at .... and clean house at welterweight.... that includes Mosely, Cotto, Berto, Clotey, And yes Margarito... but first I want him to try to get passed Paul Williams....

I'm more interested in what they do in the future. Marquez will still be a stud at LW or possible JWW. Floyd's fights are always intriguing, especially if against Mosley or Cotto/Pac winner.

if ever there is a catchweigth for manny-floyd, team manny will ask for $1M penalty for every excess pound.
now that is too big for floyd's big mouth to swallow!
but then,...floyd will opt to fyt manny only at 147 limit.
floyd will not risk a 145 cw against manny.
there are a lot reasons for this fyt not to happen.
manny still has to pass by cotto!!
