Actually he is! He's 6'7", 30-3. He's not Top 5, but remember Wilder is coming back from back-to-back KOs! Helenius is the perfect opponent!

Hopefully there's no banana skins with Robert as we still don't know what Fury took out of Wilder. These are the fights that we want and happily they want. Ruiz looked good and pretty fast but my money would be on Deontay to nail the quite easy to hit Ruiz with those massive power punchers of his.

It's seems like wider has been working on his stamina, I have nothing against Helenius, he has earned a good payday, but he gets sent to splattsville in Rd 3

It's not a bad opponent for Wilder to come back against. Helenius has put himself in the mix with the two stoppage wins over Kownacki.

Wilder and his team selected Helenius for a reason. He's a credible enough opponent but they know who he is, they've sparred each other numerous rounds and they are friends. Wilder and his team think they match up favorably against him and Helenius gets a nice payday for his efforts.

Anything can happen in the ring but, like you, I expect Wilder to spark The Nordic Nightmare within 3-4 rounds.

This was always the plan. Ortiz gets cashed out as a contender, Ruiz becomes relevant again with Ortiz. Helenius, with two wins against Kownacki, gets cashed out against Wilder.

Ruiz gets cashed out against Wilder and the Bronze Bomber is back in position for one last megafight.

Should Ortiz want some more paychecks he can be placed on undercards (perhaps as an opponent for Sanchez) or even in a matchup with Helenius. PBC gets to keep it in-house.

What does Canelo have to do with Wilder/Ruiz?

Cmon man, nobody alive thinks Canelo, the undisputed 168lber, was afraid of Spence, a 147lber.

Sanchez vs Demirezen is a good fight. Both just kind of making names for themselves & both are good boxers

Demirezen would make sense. At first glance, I would say that Frank's superior command of distance and boxing skills make it an easy night.

At second glance, if the Cuban Flash doesn't come fully prepared or if he tries to coast (which he has done before), Ali can make it a tough with his aggression and volume punching.

I could also see PBC matching Sanchez up against someone like Johnnie Rice. That would not be compelling.
