No because Marquez was getting a boxing lesson, not a beating. The only time Cotto "quit" was after that horrible beating from Margarito, which is clouded by su****ion now.

LOL stop making these ******ed ass threads.

Mayweather couldnt knock out Marquez so he most definitely doesnt Cotto. This quitting s h i t is garbage. You should quit posting cause your analyisis needs work. Your too bias. Mayweather wouldnt even phase Cotto. Cotto and Mosley reign supreme at Welterweight which is why Mayweather has refused to fight them.

Lol when floyd throws only 30 punches per round. On jmm he landed 60 percent because marquez doesn't move his head

Ok a friggin Hype job with an excellent record, who's fought real fighters in their prime and has only one highly questionable loss, in which he actually didn't quit, his corner decided to stop the fight because of the highly questionable mauling he was recieving at the hands of a boxer that is well known for not having punching power. Hmmmmm. Bigger than Floyd, a natural WW which FLoyd seems to have ducked all his spoonfed career, and a technical boxer who may have enough power to make Floyd's insides ache for about a month.

Get real dude, you can't mask your Cotto hatred with what you think might be an intelligent post, because you're only fooling yourself. We can all see through the ruse, and see the hater inside.

Just No lol...only a fool would think that considering even Cotto's last fight.

Plus, Floyd would be much more apprehensive with his offense against someone his own size who can hit.

Take a step back at look at things from a realistic perspective. I think it's safe to say Marquez would've had nightmare match ups against either Mosley or Cotto.

A lot of you posters are either really funny... or just dumb. I don't know if Cotto could solve the defensive puzzle of Mayweather. I'd say probably not. But to say he'd quit is ridiculous. To knock him for taking a knee against Tony is laughable. I guess you would've continued taking severe punishment while completely gassed... to prove what? It wasn't his night and that's that.

I guess it would've been better for Puerto Rican's reputation if he would've gotten seriously hurt because the corner didn't throw the towel. I can hear it now; "The storied career of Miguel Cotto ended when he was knocked ******ed by Margarito... but at least he did all Puerto Ricans proud by continuing to take an unrelenting beating. He'll never be the same again but man those Puerto Ricans have heart!"

Sounds rather ****** to me! This is a career people. These guys aren't in the colosseum fighting for their life against tigers etc. Contrary to what many people might believe there IS a difference between heart and sheer ******ity.

how the fook is cotto going to quit if mayrunner is running away from him? I hope the fight gets made so you can eat your silly theory. its one thing to say mayweather would beat cotto is another to say cotto would quit. you just made yourself much less credible with this thread..
                  100% failure.....

floyds punches has nothing on them, cotto would be able to hang with floyd for 12 rounds easily

I don't like Mayweather at all. I want to make that clear. But there is a reason why Cotto is the only top Welter that hasn't expressed any interest in fighting Floyd. Margarito and Mosley called him out in his presence. Williams called both Mayweather and Cotto in the post fight interview of his decision win over Margarito. And Arum stopped this fight from happening at 147 as well. After Cotto beat Mosley Arum said that he would never put Cotto in the ring with Mayweather because he didn't want to deal with a business man. Arum knows the deal.
