I sure as hell do. Out of all the top Welters like Mosley, Williams, Margarito, and Clottey Cotto comes in last place when it comes to threats. I'm saying this as someone who doesn't even like Mayweather. If I liked him, I'd want him to fight Cotto because it would be a bank account padder.

          LMAO!..

          Cotto would've quit?!...why?..

I see why I come on this site less and less..****** fuckin theories like this..

You feel he's less a threat?...fine..that's your opinion..but why would have Cotto quit??..Marquez was not getting pressured and battered to the point of getting KTFO..

and I think they all get picked apart..and actually give Cotto the better chance because he's a boxer/brawler who knows how to pressure intelligently..and Williams is irrelevant..he's a MW now..not a WW..

This is just silly. Cotto had an opportunity to quit when he had a cut against Clottey. He probably would have walked away with a technical decision because it was close around the 7th because of the cut. Cotto is not a quitter.

This is the problem. Williams is actually the guy that has genuine talent and Cotto is a frigging hype job. I don't like Mayweather at all. But I come out and say who really is going to give him a tough fight, and don't pick fighters just because of their large fan base. I see no way that Cotto is competitive with that version of Floyd that we saw last night. People demand Floyd fight guys with the big fan bases and that's why we get these lame fights. Paul Williams and Shane Mosley are his only threats.

The problem is that Cotto does not have to jump 2 classes to fight him though

Cotto didn't quit against Clottey because Clottey let him breathe. I know Floyd isn't physically imposing either. But I think that his corner would throw the towel in similar to the Margarito fight.
