I don't know where Mikey's coming from with this prediction. You can never count Loma out against anybody. On top of that, Loma has fought bigger punchers than Haney and has been fighting bigger opponents since he moved up to 135. He's a natural featherweight. Size is irrelevant unless you can make it work for you. Sure Haney is talented but Loma is supremely skilled. It would be a chess match but I just don't see Haney's size advantage being much of a factor if they ever fight. He's not an aggressive or physical type of fighter. Loma doesn't have to worry about getting caught with a big punch while moving in and around Haney. He's not a puncher.

Maybe so but come on man. Garcia didn't want anything to do with Loma. He knew he would get dominated. It's easier on your ego if you get dominated by a much bigger opponent (Spence) instead of a smaller guy like Loma.

He knows that, that's why he doesn't want Loma to succeed

he's a jealous clown, and he's butthurt because his venture into WW to duck Loma turned out to be disastrous for him

Loma will school Haney if they fight, and everyone knows it

If Loma still has it he beats Haney EASY , he's got the footwork to get inside Haneys defense and just put it on him . Watching the JOJO fight I could just imagine if it was loma he would've KO'd him no doubt about it . Haney doesn't have enough power to keep Loma honest like Teo did that simple.

How old is Loma these days, if it happens I favour Haney because of his size, reach, athleticism, speed and because he's the younger/fresher fighter.

I don't think it was Teo's size that caused Loma to lose (it was a factor but not the only factor) but Loma has 400 amateur fights, 2 Olympic runs, and a boxing career - he's always been busy and for the Teo fight this was probably the longest he was without a fight, ever.

                    This is good.

Will encourage Haney not to duck Lomachenko.

Loma will figure Haney out. Foremost, Haney doesn't have the power to threaten Loma. With that said, Haney has never faced someone with the footwork Loma has. Loma took too much time to figure out Teo, but by the end of the fight he did. And, despite the money to be made, Teo knowingly wants to hold on to that victory and avoid Loma. The best way to fight Loma is to go at him... ask Salido, ask Teo,... heck, ask Linares. Haney is not the pursuing kind of fighter, and that will be his downfall. If he does not apply pressure, Loma will dance around him all day. It will be humiliating. Down deep I feel Loma has been waiting for this fight, waiting to showcase his supremacy. He's going to go out there to make Haney another one of his "quit-on-his-stool" victims. I don't think Loma will offer him mercy the way he did Commey. And for the record... Loma is not a "former" two-time gold medalist; He IS a two-time gold medalist. Once you win a gold medal, it doesn't get taken away.
