Floyd is still lying ducking and trying to set up more fraud fights. AJ is a big dummy. Crawford is great but no one will dare to fight him. Duck davis? lol he's nothing but a sham puppet. Boxing destroyed itself when mayweather was the face of the sport, all of his fights were rigged set ups against bought opponents looking for that payday.
Honestly AJ vs Wilder could of put boxing back in the spotlight both were undefeated at the time and it was the biggest fight everyone was talking about.

    Talk about a opportunity lost.

It’s 100% the other way around. UFC is dead and hanging on by a thread. Boxing is definitely more popular now that’s not even up for discussion. You think it’s the other way around because you don’t follow UFC like you do boxing. Majority of ufc top fighters Ngannou, Usman, Max Holloway have only fought one time this year. Mcgregor, Jon Jones, Poirer, haven’t even fought at all this year.
Meanwhile Spence is getting ready for his second unification fight of the year.

The real truth is most boxing fans are soft and follow after nerds like Steve Kim and Doug Fischer in comparison UFC has guys like Joe Rogan who push the sport without crying like girls 24/7. Boxing fans rank fights based on race, network and management affiliation, you’ll diss a good fight if you don’t like the person or network he’s affiliated with.

You all hate when Boxers fight once a year so how TF can you praise the UFC? They are paying a HW champion 600K and he only fights once a year. UFC have A LOT of recycled fights because the talent pool is so shallow. As usual with most casual boxing fans you don’t know what you’re talking about. If you make a thread like this you should be able to cite some type of evidence???

It isnt "definitely more popular" and hasnt been since like the mid 00s. Dont know how the UFC could be "hanging on by a thread" when even during quiet times they have a PPV every 3-4 weeks thats comparable to or bigger than a Spence, Bud, Tank fight.

Not really. Its more that its relatively common in boxing for champs/top stars to fight a bunch of randoms while marinating the bigger fights, divisions typically move much more slowly in boxing because of this.

I don't watch UFC, but a large segment of society are loyal followers and can't get enough of it. Lucky for them the people behind the business deliver fights in a consistent manner even during the pandemic.

It's because they're not as expensive to produce compared to boxing. UFC is not only focused on the main card but the entirety of the whole event. And the money is evenly spread. In boxing, 90% of the card is about the main card. Fans are okay with paying the PPV for just one fight.

Fingers crossed (dont hold your breath though) we MIGHT get Fury/Usyk, Spence/Crawford, another AJ fight etc before the year is out too.

I'm not really seeing how the analogy applies there. Hes talking about the popularity of fighters....

Following the UFC legally if you're American is much more expensive than following boxing too.

This is another difference between boxing and ufc. When boxing fans hear PPV numbers they’ll say, “those aren’t real numbers” and cite some loser like Rick Glaser. UFC fans don’t do that. You must haven’t been paying attention but UFC numbers are horrible. You have to look at everything with context. UFC spends over 100M on advertising and the highest selling ufc event so far this year is 380K. Their numbers are decreasing each event. Where are all these big fights in the UFC? Name them.

This is Usman record a bunch of bums followed by recycled fights.

380k is bigger than any Spence fight ever and hes supposed to be one of boxings main PPV stars today. The UFCs numbers are only "horrible" by their own previous standards, not compared to boxing.

Lmao what? Canelo and maybe Usyk are the only current boxers with better resumes than that, and in Canelos case hes had like 3x as many fights.
