I don’t talk just for fun kid. Everything I say I have actual facts to back it up. You got me it wasn’t 380K it was 400K Most of you suck off UFC because you’re frustrated with boxing but in reality there’s no evidence that UFC is bigger or better, that’s why none of you can come with facts that support that statement. You all will complain about Boxers fighting twice a year meanwhile 90% UFC top fighters have either not fought at all this year or have only had one fight. Another thing you UFC cheerleaders do is claim UFC best fight the best without actually giving an example. I have asked multiple times to name all these so called good fights in UFC and none of you can come up with anything. Boxing is crapping all over UFC. Celebrities and entertainers only care about boxing and boxers are also more famous than UFC fighters. Obviously, you’re just talking out your ass.

“No buyrates were publicly reported for any of the promotion’s previous four pay-per-views”

Hmmm I wonder why. UFC is a dying sport and Dana knows it.

If you were you’d know this problem is much worse in the ufc. Research their top fighters and see how many times they’ve fought this year.

Like every year, there's good and bad. We should have a stickied thread focusing on the entertaining and meaningful fights/moments throughout the year, in order to remind us that things aren't always as hopeless as they seem. NSB has a tendency of dwelling on negativity.

Boxing politics is entirely to blame for this. These sanctioning orgs and promotional companies don’t care about what’s good for the sport, all they do is protect their assets. Screw them

I was a ufc mma hater for a whole buts its time to admit defeat. This sport is dead.
LOL It's incredible how many posts just like this one I've seen for the last 10 years. Dead? Really? Then why is it that boxers dominate the PPV numbers? Why do those guys never do anything close to the numbers that boxing does? (And they never have an answer to those questions.)

Some crafty kicks to the shins and calves maybe ?
Some intricate wrestling at times ?

Listen, I've been watching boxing for 20 years and tried to dab into MMA fights here and there. At no point could they ever get me hooked the same way boxing does. When you see either a slugfest with actual power punchers and suspect chins, nothing can keep you on edge than knowing at any point, 1 mistake, it's over. On the other end, when you see an exciting offensive chest match on display from a fighter whose picking his opponent apart with intelligence, it is something to behold.

In my few times watching MMA, it's been like, either crazy by luck KO's, wild ass KOs whether by kicks, some elbows, or some crazy ****. I know a lot of people are like, THAT'S WHY IT'S SO MUCH BETTER!!!! No. That is why it's so unpredictable and less of an artform. It literally is a street fight. What's a street fight? Whoever lands first or throws some weird **** that the other person wasn't expecting and gets the KO wins. It's too unpredictable and whack. Boxing is an art where you have to master it at the highest level. Mistakes are costly but you KNOW you made a mistake because you could of avoided it based on your training. I feel like MMA training is all over the damn place. The only Fraud Jr. quote I like. Something like, skillful at everything but a master at nothing. That is MMA fighters and if you say, well, he did master BJJ, so he was susceptible to being taken out by striking or whatever. Dude, again, see my post on street fighting. It's just anything goes, no real consistency.

I'm watching boxing as an art and skill of only, let's say hand to hand striking and the ability to defend that. That's all I want to see, that's all I care about, that's all that entertains me. I don't care about kicks. I don't care about laying on each other on the floor. I don't care about choking someone. That's not an "art" to me. To each their own but again, I've tried watching MMA plenty of times in 20 years and can never get "hooked". It's missing a catching point for me.
