I didn’t see much of anything new with Garcia as trainer. I also didn’t think Garcia was the man for the job. AJ needed someone like Emmanuel Stewart or his protege. Someone who understands the intricacies, pros & cons of being a SUPERheavyweight. AJ NEVER used his advantages. Fury WILL.
Usyk is a great fighter but all he is doing is EXPLOITING what super heavyweights lack. It’s rare a SMALL man is agile, tuff and smart enough to exploit super heavyweights. He did a fine job.

One of the best comments I heard here was Joshua should have hired Sugar Hill, the nephew of Emmanuel Steward who took over for Tyson Fury after the 1st Wilder fight. Although Usyk is a higher skilled fighter than Wilder, I still believe Hill would have incorporated a very aggressive strategy and killer mentality in Joshua to use his size and strength and power to stop Usyk

AJ Said it himself he isnt a 12 round fighter, i think Rob Mckraken didnt push his limits to make him a 12 round fighter, therefore he doesn't know how to be pushed to get the conditioning to the level needed where he can be exhausted yet keep fighting through it. the whole fight for AJ was based on him getting one window of opportunity and closing the show... he got it in the 9th but didnt have it in his tank to finish the job... usyk was there for the taking. Skills was never going to win for AJ vs Usyk...

Usyk was not there for the taking. Joshua just moved forward and was throwing air punches and landed few clean shots. Usyk was playing possum and knew he could turn it on and pepper Joshua which he did.

RD9 is a mirage, Usyk wasn't THAT hurt and for the punches that Joshua threw not many landed!

Duh... congratulations you watched the fight, something most didn't do. Usyk was moving because that was the best strategy and Joshua burned himself out quickly.
