Bivol really isn't that good to be frank

I've been watching Bivol since day 1 and yea he's good, but I think a lot of people are elevating him to a place he doesn't belong after beating Cleneloterol.

He's really a basic albeit sharp 1-2 fighter that's really in shape and can mix it up. He's not dynamic at all. Once he steps into the big fights with A- and A+ level fighters, I think a lot of people are going to abandon ship on this guy.

My boxing eyes saw that canelo was lucky to face bivol had he face triple g or benavidez he would have got KO three times over

What's so bad about mastering the basics? Yeah he isn't flashy but a lot of that **** is more style than substance. He's great at what he does and it's been effective so far. And who are all these A-, A+ fighters out there around his weight class?

Nobody said it was bad, the point is people are getting carried away in thinking he's some amazing great fighter when he has not proved it yet just because he beat Canelo who is not even Elite over 160 , especially at 175 where he looked like crap.

He's not all that but Canelo coming in overconfident made Bivol seem like he's special. Canelo is the better fighter and he'll prove it in the rematch.

His offense is basic but that's all he needs against most people. He's fast enough that his combos and 1-2's beat almost anyone. His footwork and defense are also superb. He has by far the best statistical defense. I have yet to see him lose a single clear round. Every round that he lost could've gone the other way.

I guess we'll just just rewrite history then and how most people viewed Canelo before Bivol.
