Lara who held a 154 WBA belt for 2 years was backed by a very influential and cunning manager named Decubas, who people suspect is in collusion with WBA. The fight was in huge demand at that time, yet Decubas would rather make fights like Yuri Foreman, Gausha, etc. that he knew don't even draw flies. It wasn't a surprise because they couldn't even unify with the Charlo sisters, who each had their own belts and who also reside in their own house and street.

Hilarious part is how can Andrade duck Lara when there was no offer made? Shouldn't Lara and Decubas call Andrade's bluff first by making an offer? How can you duck something without an offer on the table? Are people really this ****** or what?
ANDRADE LITERALLLY ADMITTED HE WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT FIGHT lol.

He said he would fight the junior belt holder - Culcay - even though he had never seen his style or heard of him. But the reason he didn't want to fight Lara, so he said, was because of Lara's style.

How can anyone defend this man like you guys are doing. Absolute fools on this board.

Yeah, Andrade got tired of waiting. It was obvious Decubas and Lara, who were backed by Showtime and powerful Haymon, were never going to send any offer to Andrade. They're more into scouting bums and vitctims for Lara's yearly pension of $1 million per fight.

Yeah, Andrade in exasperation said he doesn't want the boring Cuban anymore. This is common when you're getting frustrated and nothing is getting done. Spence said it. Crawford said it, yet it's getting made isn't it? Bottom line was Lara and Decubas had zero interest in the fight.

It's unfortunate because Andrade's major comeback fight was fighting on a PBC undercard. He got bored waiting for another offer and signed with HBO.

But I’m telling you, there was no conversation with Al [Haymon, Lara’s manager] or any of the promoters that are working with Al or anybody about what the money was. We never got that far. We were told [Lara] didn’t want the fight after Demetrius beat Culcay. That’s exactly what happened.

We let it go because that was weeks ago. Then there was an article that came out on [BoxingScene.com] that had Lara saying we priced ourselves out of the fight. There was never any discussion of money. It was that Lara wanted to fight [IBF champion Jarrett] Hurd or somebody else. He did not want to fight Andrade.

If we could’ve jumped right to Lara, right then on Showtime, we would have.

Showtime was willing to back the fight. Showtime told us they offered Lara the fight. And they turned it down and said they wanted a tune-up first. Then we came back from Germany, expecting that we were gonna get a Lara fight in July or something like that. Now Lara’s actually telling people publicly that we priced ourselves out of it. We just fought Culcay for $75,000. How much money does he think that we want?
Andrade accepted the Culcay fight only after Lara revealed he would face faded former junior middleweight champion Yuri Foreman (34-3, 10 KOs, 1 NC) on January 13. Showtime wouldn’t televise Lara-Foreman, which Lara (24-2-2, 14 KOs) won by fourth-round knockout, thus Spike aired it three months ago from Hialeah, Florida.

And at that point, Lara already had his other fight lined up [against Foreman]. So we took the Culcay fight, knowing that if we took that fight and won the regular WBA title, at some point Demetrius and Lara would be mandatory and they’d have to fight. The last thing we’re trying to do is avoid Lara.

I was told that Lara wanted to go in a direction of fighting Hurd for the unified title but in my opinion I think it’s an easier fight for Lara and that’s why he wants it.

Vanes has a pretty big pulse. Went to a draw with Lara and Roth (the best judge ever) had Vanes winning.

These aren't excuses, they're facts of what happened. If you can't handle it, I'm sure you can find your way out. I've presented the evidence at least a dozen times. You're just the guy who repeats whoever that's saying whatever. The facts are there, I don't understand you people...you're like this breed of mechanical parakeets.

Seriously, your name is Elfag, you have an AV of a mans nether regions, and you expect to get taken seriously?

OK, so why did Andrade say, in his own words, he didn't want the fight because Lara was 'boring' - he never even mentioned any of that stuff you said.

Y'all are doing way too much man

I also have more information than you do for everyone to assess.

You said there were multiple fights where Andrade ducked in writing, I'm waiting for the others. I've asked 3x now and I'll keep asking until you provide them.

You said there were multiple fights where Andrade ducked in writing, I'm still waiting for you to post them (not just your Lara thread that's been over-ruled). 4th ask now, I don't think you have anything because if you did, you would have posted it.
